It is. I wouldn't fancy living on a diet of gannets
Me neither. fussy eater at the best of times.
Although, could do with some St Kildans here... take care of the seagulls, should've seen Mitxy and her neighbour the other week, plastered.
Eeew not pleasant, poor Mitxy
Luckily the rain came down not long after. heavy rain is the car owners best friend. *nods*
Handy stuff, rain.
There was a Steve Backshall double bill last night. He did the programme after too. Just narrating unfortunately.
Yeah, I heard the narration... didn't finish the show though. Seemed to be pretty much what Chris Packham had just done.. better. lol
Yes I noticed that too.
Will you be watching the Olympics Hitch?
I shall not. I have to taken to calling it (as started by a twitter pal) Volde-sport. Looks like all my day time shows aren't on properly for two weeks.
Is this how people feel during the euros/world cup? is horrible...
Volde-sport
I might watch the tennis and see what else grabs me.
I think Neil Oliver is on stv news today... Bit about he battle of Bannockburn and there was a guy with the right length black hair digging... I failed to pay attention so not 100% sure.
It is him... not sure if you can check the stv player down there... should be able to.
I looked at STV Player, even put Neil Oliver into the search box but couldn't see anything
I'll see if I can find it.

Try that, he's near the end sadly.
Third edit! A record. *nods happily* Play the "I'm Sparticus!" game with John Mackay. It's excellent.
Sorry I didn't check the link in time - they only keep the news for 24hrs so only Thursday's is there.
And after you going to the trouble, eek apologies Hitch xx
No worries. He was talking briefly about doing a dig at Bannock Burn looking for the actual battle site.
Thanks Hitch. Hopefully it'll be turned into a series.
Here's hoping.
Here's hoping.
Are you watching any voldesport at all ?
I enjoyed the women's foil final last night [I used to do fencing]. It was 11-11 between two italians and then went to a sudden death hit-off. Very 'citing.
I haven't. Did have a bit of temptation in that Ki is playing for the Korean team (I thought Olympians had to be amateurs?).
Yeah, I don't know when that rule changed.
Oh good... Thought it was something I had imagined.
Really annoyed that it's affecting my stv schedule even though it's bbc.
Yeah its everywhere.
Just thought... olympic boxing still has only amateurs.
Good for the boxing. I now have respect for them. *nods*
I have spent the Olympics watching Community. Has taken me 5 days to watch all 3 seasons.
Any good?
I wore out the rubber chain on my exercise bike lol. On to my treadmill now - walking uphill setting.
Very good. Particularly paintball. I will declare my undying love for Troy and Abed right now.
I don't have enough patience to finish something I don't like (season 6 Dexter, I only lasted until they killed off Mos Def... it was that bad).
That sounds like a well done, so... Well done! Be able to get it fixed? Right?
Thats a shame about Dexter.
Nah the bike is a gonner. The pedals have cracked as well. Cheap Amazon rubbish!
Ah shame.
I would recommend watching Community (will have to be online pixies, because I can't guarantee what bit Sony's channel will be showing. ) before season 4, as Sony have sacked the show runner and will probably try to make it normal (ie no fun!). *ahem*
Sony have a channel?
I am in Freeviewland we are simple folk.
They have. It's a teeny hidden channel. NBC show it in america though... I have found it and put it on series link. *nods*
Magical pixie time. *nods*
Love the pixies. I still have to start Game of Thrones...
That doesn't take too long, GoT, short wee seasons. I enjoy that one. Don't Start the Borgias though... awful!
The pixies are my favourites.
The Borgias, now they were a bad lot *nods*
*nods* Indeed... but stick to the Horrible Histories version. Far superior.
I would love to see that.
Sorry not been in - bad internet probs - I was cut off for most of yesterday
Hate when internet goes wonky... Virgin media do it a lot.. I think my modem is too old for superfast broadband.
Thank you Hitch that was excellent.
Interweb was off yesterday too until nearly 10pm grrr.
my word! I go... crazy... when that happens. How did we manage in the 80s?
Aaaargh and it went off today for hours too
Really does wind you up...
Got my Community season 1 dvd today. The usual "trying to be cool" but you catch them laughing thing. Plus, Danny Pudi, Donald Glover and Joel McHale on a 50 inch screen... always good.
Sounds good
From a big screen to a little screen... I thought my little sony walkman was broken when I got water in it months ago. Found it and charged it up yesterday, It lives !!!
Must have slowly dried out
