never had dim sum. Did try a tea egg one day... never again.
A tea egg? Doesn't sound nice Hitch, what is it?
an egg boiled in tea. *nods*
Well done to Wales winning the Grand Slam. *shamefully waves her wooden spoon*
Congrats to Wales, they deserved it.
An egg boiled in tea sounds horrible.
it was. *nods*
bad sporting week for me... wooden spoon, Castrogiovanni's sports bra and then we just lost the cup to Killie. ah well...
You're gonna have to explain that Hitch, for I dinnae understand it.
Scotland did the worst in the tournament, thus we get 'the wooden spoon'... dundunDUN!
Martin Castrogiovanni, had to get his rib injury checked out at one point. As much as I adore him (big, hairy Viking!), that wasn't the ideal shirt to get pulled off on camera (big, hairy Viking!)... he appeared to be wearing a sports bra to support his moobs during the game...
Today was the League Cup final in Scotland. Celtic verses Kilmarnock. Killie won, fair play to them... our lot got complacent.
Well I knew what the wooden spoon was...
A sports bra on a man oh dear
I was a little over explainy. sorry.
he's not one of the muscular players... you know how there's always one fat one on every team. Really soft spoken, comes across as a big gentle giant.
Yeah I know what you mean
*is feeling a bit icky, and can't think of anything to say*
Icky as in not well?
again! or still... haven't really eaten for the past week and a half. force a wee bit down... need to eat, can't face it it. *shrugs*
Passed it on to my mum too. my cry of "happy mothers' day!" didn't go down well...
Oh no that sounds terrible Hitch Hope you and your mum get well soon xx
as do I. *nods*( i'm feeling fine... so long as i don't eat.
Doesn't sound like fun
no... but I can fit in my size 14 trousers again. (looking at the positives)
Sorry you'e still feeling ill ... but... that is impressive!
ah well... here's to the easter hols! they are soon *nods* happily* and just before them I get the new Mars Volta album. Noise! To annoy others with! *evil grins*
Haven't heard of them, are they good?
Just saw Avatar, it was better than expected. Bit soppy for a sci fi, but good. Wish I had one of those flicky tails; people would know what mood I was in and not bother me
I love them... I saw them supporting the red hot chili peppers (they were promoting their first album) and haven't looked back. They are prog with a salsa influence... can sound a bit weird, especially the lyrics to the first album. Omar and Cedric use to be in at the drive-in, if that helps?
Saw avatar was on... can't bring myself to watch it... much like titanic... must be a james cameron thing? lol Yesterday i watched up, the studio ghibli version of tales from earthsea (much better than the western live action one), and castle of cagliostro (lupin iii + hayao miyazaki = heavenly, if only they had the original dub on the dvd, cause the voice for Jigen is just... lovely... )
Prog mixed with Salsa sounds excellent
I hated HATED Titanic. Wasn't anything else on telly so thought I'd give Avatar half an hour... it was a pleasant surprise. Not have as cliched as I expected.
Yesterday I joined LoveFilm the online streaming service as they have a free month's trial. So far watched a doc on Harvey Milk, and I'm halfway through Donnie Brasco.
My aunt bought my mum Titanic on VHS for her birthday the year it came out... the shrink wrap is still on the cassette. *ahem*
How is your tummy bug Hitch... any better?
Tummy is fine. Hurrah!
Ah good. Just in time for Easter
Which starts at 1:45pm on Friday.
Sometimes working in a school is the greatest!

Not long now Hitch.
1 more day! *runs about excited*
The sunniness has me confused though. Everyday I leave work feeling relaxed like it's all over for the week... which it isn't.
Yay you're free Hitch
This Springy sun could be all the sun we get for a while... as in last year and the year before
Parts of Scotland have snow forecasted.
It's mental weather.
Snow? Bliddy hell...
It's exciting!
Also... Channel 5, 8pm, Sunday... Once Upon A Time is starting... *far too excited*
Read previews of it, it does sound good. I shall sit down and watch it with a cup of jasmine green tea and imaginary biscuits.
Yay! You shall not regret this... You will love to hate the main villain... and Robert Carlyle is amazing.
Great stuff... I love Robert Carlyle
CGI is a bit naf though (when is it ever good on tv?), can't wait to see how it looks in 50 inch HD.
Oh that sounds fantastic
Wish my [Technika] telly was better, No matter how I fiddle with it I can't get the colours or brightness right. I try to watch stuff on the laptop if I can.
