Richard Hammond was on Irish radio this morning, the TG liveshow is going to Dublin next month.

He said the Stig will return next series in another guise. He also let slip that Jezza is scared of spiders

Tony Curtis was great wasn't he? I watched SomeLike It Hot last week, he was brilliant in it. A real star.

Wonder do we share other superstitions... there were loads in my house. Don't wear green - its unlucky, don't give someone gloves- it means a parting, robins are unlucky and mean a death etc etc
Also NI seems to be the only place outside Scotland which has the New Year tradition of first footing. Southern Irish people have never heard of it!

i don't know those ones, but i always get into trouble for whistling. is that one of yours too?

Yes we have the first footer bringing in coal tradition, not whiskey though. I think its sugar for us in NI. Whiskey - thats a great  improvement lol. Also the first footer should be male and dark in colouring preferably.

well, i think he does. (nb. i could be biased) well, he's certainly tall.. and about as dark as you can get. i suppose the handsome bit is down to taste, for example, i wouldn't be all whoo! if brad pitt showed up. i kind of don't get brad pitt. lol

The Stig was in Ireland last week. This article was in the Irish Independent. I can't help but feel sorry for him, he did keep schtum for years  Sound like he's not on best terms with the TG guys
