Italy! Brilliant I'll look forward to that, the foreign trips are always the best.
there's a fiat 500c abarth (abrath?), looking forward to that.
Err... *nods knowledgeably*
JM is still getting criticism for his latest series. They say its more suited for kids tv, but Its right at my level
keep meaning to watch, but haven't got round to it... hopefully iplayer are airing it as a series view.
My Favourite was the Fiat Abarth, though of course it was rigged it so it came last. JM was in a right tetchy mood last night too [quite liked it].
haven't seen it yet. normally catch it on iplayer. i think james is the only one that doesn't really like the wee fiat. i want one! *covets*
will catch it later today. *nods*
i see their point a wee bit, hammond did cheat slightly. no way could a fiat 500 be confused for a hatchback.
as cute as it is.
loves jm trying to get jezza to argue at the start. lol
I noticed they kept Jezza away from the ladies.
lol JM is beautiful when he's in a bad mood.
with their lady wrangler no doubt. (thank you mr noble for the term)
was indeed cute.
I noticed many laydeez at the front, so thats it.
Coast was good [ for once ] on Sunday too - they were in the Western Isles and Shetland. Neil Oliver was only in it briefly sadly, but it was worth it to see him doing his Scotsman's walk.
*is sure she replied earlier* *ninja*
scotsman walk? would that be a sort of cro magon swagger? that's how they walk round here.
Cro Magnon
Neil isn't that bad, more a manly stride with arms pumping. He looks like he's off to have it out with someone.
ah, so he takes the terminator stride. lol
my friend's cousin is going to see top gear today. i'm pretty sure she'll be wrangled to the front (tall, skinny and pretty) so be on the look out for a young lassie with thick black hair and pale skin.
Your friend is so lucky!
Lady wranglers - such a funny idea . I once heard an old Irishman say that when men were looking for women, they should be put into a corral and the men could lasso the one they liked.
egads! they'd have better hope they have a good aim.
she is indeed. and i am jealous. *nods*
I'd be all for the corral idea if the sexes were the other way round.
Feeling very jealous of your friend too... even though the audience has to stand round for ages and they only get a kitkat or something like that
ooh free kitkat. hehe (seriously... don't like kitkats)
*has an image of blokes milling about whilst the neopets fangirls fight over senormalo (because he's hot, not allowed to say that on neopets... but here i can. )* yep, corral idea a good one.
I remember Jezza saying thats all the audience got... think it was a kitkat, or someother choc bar.
Last night was good - hope all those little ducklings got away and Jezza didn't squish any.
i had a suicidal wood pigeon on saturday. i was at a corner and stopped to let it waddle out the way...i went to turn right and it waddled out in front of me in that road. stupid birdie.
by the way.. i failed again today... two majors (second one as a result of being thrown by the first *doh*), on an otherwise clear sheet.
i didn't see ailis in the crowd, i figure hammond now has a rule about how tall the girls on camera are allowed to be, what with jezza's pointing out how much taller than him they are.
i didn't want vettel to beat reubens... but it was funny when jezza threw the old stig's time away... whoever caught it... ebay!
Really sorry about your test Hitch. You've had bad luck. I wonder if a lot depends on the instructor too
Sounds like a crazy pigeon. I saved a pigeon's life once. It was fighting with its friend on top of a ventilation chimney on the building next to me. It fell in ( I was washing the dishes looking out the window at the time luckily ). I rang the RSPCA but they weren't that bothered. So I looked up the building's number, asked for their maintenance dept and told them. A man unscrewed a grill below the chimney and out it flew like a bat out of hell !
actually haven't been too bad with instructors so far. just me and idiot mistakes that never happen any other time.
lucky pigeon. glad you were doing your dishes. *nods* bad rspca! bad!
Yeah I was surprised at the RSPCA
So lucky it was saved, especially as it was a boiling hot day and a metallic chimney vent. What a cruel way to go it would've been.
i have interwebs! ready light not lit, so may be temporary.. *quickly types stuff*
it would have been bad indeed. *nods*
Naughty interweb, always playing up.
I watched Senna, it was good [but not as moving as the tribute TG did ]. Felt sorry for him with all the stupid racing politics he had to put up with. Williams came out of it badly too, that car was dangerous .
senna? i'm not sure what that is? not a person that knows anything about motor racing.
Documentary film about Brazilian Ayrton Senna who was F1 world champion three times before being killed at 34. Heard a lot of good things about it so watched it. He was a very strong and even eccentric personality. So much more inspiring than say the likes of Michael Schumacher. Also the lead up to his accident ( there were kind of bad omens ) was so poignant. I shed a tear or two by the end.
ah ok.
i'm doing a harry potter rewatch.. that's actually put me through the wringer. one a day until i go see. a little over excited first year popped up, and my mind went straight to "though underage, must have sneaked back just as Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle had done. He was tiny in death." and i just... lost it.. floods of tear. (name has been omitted for spoilers, but if you've read the book you'll know.) that last sentence got me in the book. *is a sad geek*
Thats why JK Rowling is such a good writer.
Its a good sign when a book / film / tv episode moves you to tears, no?. I also had a sniffle during the Crimson Petal and the White on BBC 2 recently
i would agree, but... i tend to be easy to set off. lol
Missed TG as I was so exhausted I fell asleep early last night. It wasn't even dark .
I gather theres some caravan mayhem to look forward to.
oh yes. caravans abound. is fun.
went to see potter today instead of tomorrow... was superb, i'm as proud as sweet, wee Neville as i thought i'd be. but... i didn't cry for Fred. i should've been a snottery mess over him. why wasn't i a snottery mess?
Its supposed to be bliddy brilliant
yes yes, i would agree with that muchly. *nods*
3d is amazing.. i was down on 3d after clash of the titans (until mads mikkelsen turned up of course, slightly less flat mads is always good), but this was amazing.
that said, i didn't feel right not being a snottery mess over Fred. my love for the weasley twins knows no bounds. so, that was kind of a let down, although i think i had it built up too much in my mind. so my fault. *nods*
Wow I've never seen a 3D film, I imagine Harry Potter would be perfect for it, with lots of things whizzing round. Dunno, maybe you'll cry whenever you see it a second time?
In TG they asked if anyone in the audience was from Glasgow, sheesh if only your friend had been there that week!
yeah, depends on the movie... 3d in clash of the titans was rubbish (until mads got on screen of course *ahem*). parts of the deathly hallows were clearly filmed to look good in 3d... and they worked.
i think i will cry. i get fairly sentimental watching the old ones. plus, i think i may have not cried because everytime i saw Fred during a rewatch since the book came out, i sort of had a 'wha!?' moment.
i saw that, but 1) she's from clydebank and 2) she's lived in slough since she was about 8 years old, wouldn't have worked. my friend that's her cousin married a geordie, his sister keeps getting her to talk about detective shows to try to get her to say murder as many times as possible. i don't know if she knows yet. lol
i thought he'd try to get him to say 'curly wurly', it's normally that. not our fault we roll our 'r's properly.
Tis a lovely accent
I noticed they made a joke about the Chipping Norton set . At least they didn't avoid it. That Rebeccah Brooks met her husband at one of Jezza's parties
i was wondering why they were talking about jezza's neighbours.
Chipping Norton set also includes Cameron , who I can't believe is mates with Jezza
Cameron is a complete tube, as they say where I'm from.
they say tube here too. the website youtube causes much unintentional hilarity.
really? jezza! *tuts*
Will have to catch TG on iplayer. Dunno, wasn't in the mood last night for watching stuff being demolished or crashed Twas a bad weekend for news, no?
