Saw the Absolutely Fabulous movie today, I didn't want to... I was right not to want to. Best parts were the trailers for Suicide Squad and Ghostbusters.

Oh dear, sounds bad. Sitcoms rarely lead to good films.

I heard. Very surprised indeed... nope, I carry on that joke... Not at all surprised. Whatever people say about Jezza, you didn't hear of people leaving all the time during his tenure... Also, as soon as I heard about Matt Le Blanc's "he goes or I do" thing, I knew it was over for him.

The precise point I knew it would be a disaster, was during a previous RTG [Real Top Gear] series, when Chris Evans was a guest, and said he'd spent five million on a car. Five. Million. On. A. Car. That's not in the ambitious but rubbish spirit of the show. All wrong... just all wrong. 

What were they thinking? I think the producers could do with another punch!

Today is a weird day... I got all my tabulation done for my guild's tournament honours page. Sorted out all the coding, did all the maths, felt proud of my team. That part was nice. Then... I found out Pokemon Go wasn't compatible with my phone. Google won't even give me the download option... and I don't get an upgrade until September. All my peoples are "OMG! There was a Ponyta in my wardrobe!" and I'm all...

Oh no how frustrating. No way round it that all then?  Bad luck.

Perhaps kicking all their arses in Overwatch? After I get it and practice, of course... because the only thing that's so bad about it is everyone telling me how their houses are overrun with ratatta. Ah well.

I hope your Friday night is spiffy? Mine is... I gained an exalted reputation with Ironforge. Which is good 'cause I like Dwarfs (I'll use Tolkien's plurals, I think...) Sorry, I'm in gamer mode and can't shift it.

This gaming stuffs sounds good - very absorbing. Still, it must be hard to have to sit this one out. Updatey things and tecchy things in general, are a nuisance !

Nevermind. I have a new laptop coming, this one is starting to stress with wee flash games and averages about 16 fps (Should be getting between 30-60)  and screams when gaming. And with that I shall be able to play Overwatch, which is nice.

New laptop? Oooh nice... what did you go for?

Acer. Ordered off amazon because it was the only place I could specify the graphics cards I needed. Surprisingly, PC World didn't have what I needed... at least not at this price.

Yeah there's probably a better range on Amazon.

It's been ok. Quiet, suits me. Can sit up to 3am watching Twitch streams... then doing the dishes. *ahem* Two days in a row... I am the worst.

Quiet is good. Well, its your hols... moseying around in the middle of the night is fine

Yes. Unfortunately, it means when I do have to get up early (this morning, for example), I end up lying in bed staring into the darkness until 3am.

Has your new laptop arrived?  Always an exciting day when you open one up for the first time  

Oh yes. It came one Sunday. World of Warcraft doesn't scream anymore... and it's playing at a higher graphic level and everything looks wonderful. I also downloaded Overwatch, which is fun but unavoidably multi-player. I have to psyche myself up to play it, because strangers. Especially since I'm not a great gamer.

Yes  encountering new peeps... you never know what you're going to get. Good luck with the gaming, I'm sure practice makes perfect 

I had a good run tonight. I've gotten myself into a routine of who to play as if defending or attacking based on the make up of the team. So, I'm switching between three characters (maybe four when I work out how to trigger Junkrat's mines.

Only real sadness is that I can't play as the hot archery ninja that can summon dragons, his style doesn't work for me. Although he now the lock screen on this new laptop. (Archmage Khadgar is my wallpaper. Blizzard fangirl: Confirmed.)
