Well... They put the boiler in today. That's a good sign. but can't tell if the pipe is coming out the living room or the bedroom. (It needs to go on an external wall, they were the only options.)

... but possibly more hassle... there's a thing called a "snag list" 
which applies even more so, to new places.... my first bought flat... well.... there were a few snags. Hope things go smoothly for you 
Not a new build, no. Victorian tenement like this one. Only it was all electric, they are fitting gas... so, no expensive to run storage heaters. Huzzah!
New builds are weird. You can't paint the walls for a certain length of time...

There's so much to think about... I thought broadband only would be cheaper. Turns out I'm better off getting a bundle. I need to find out if 50mbps is ok for gaming, it's a massive drop in speed from what I've got. Brain melting out ears...
