You were better off not seeing Meercat Manor t.b.h.. It got very sad and depressing in the later shows. Most of the character you got to know and love, died. The last series was a bloodbath

Not many good films on... meh. However they're repeating the Goodies late nights on BBC 2. [ of course Hitch you're too young to remember them, but they were bliddy great  ]

i remember them.. maybe not from their exact time.. but i can do do do the funky gibbon with the best of them.

there's a pride and prejudice marathon on on my birthday, and a few films i'd like to see. so i'm happy. lol

No Hitch I didn't... ooh that sounds good - I must watch out for the repeat ( hopefully ) . I did the book for "O" level  and still loved it, despite my awful teacher Mrs. Ojah

is a good show... mr collins is particularly creepy (pius thicknees in the new harry potter movie).

the whole book gets turned on it's head.

i didn't get classics... i was only at general level for english. which i didnt find fair since i can read the silmarillion.. just couldn't write about it. lol

I did English Literature for A level - we were absolutely spoilt and got to do Wuthering Heights ( my favourite book ) The Great Gatsby and Hamlet.

wuthering heights is amazing... that heathcliff is a right barsteward.

can take or leave shakespeare. macbeth was good, romeo and juilet annoyed me (not the story, just the way they came across as melodramatic teenagers... which i guess they were.) and i found the tempest, hard going.

i hate writing though, plus i'm too concise. sixth year i dropped higher english for home eccies.

Heathcliff was a barsteward indeed. I was shocked at how dark that book was, I quite like dark things.

i don't think james suits the shorter hair. i figure that is because of... omg! did you see the sun? he ended up in hospital during the xmas special.

was an interesting xmas.

glasgow was hit by freezing rain, the pavements are a nightmare. couldn't go for xmas dinner, but lovely neelim delivered it. (a waiter brought it, must've been no take-out drivers on. he got a £10 tip though). still have half my meal left.

nearly done with my treacle toffee, not opened the malties yet. stuffed 8.9 i'd say... still room to pick.

that cake looks gorgeous! *drools* got given a chocolate one out of tesco, likewise gorgeous. spent yesterday in largs... had birthday dinner in nardini's, played wii with my friend's mum (hilarious). phoned nigeria (£3.20 in about a minute.. eep! lucky i have free birtyday texts from 02).

and now have to go to facebook and thank all the people that have said happy birthday.. nice to know there's a few.

Seen the xmas TG yet? I loved it, thought it was better than last year. Intriguing ending too.

oh yes. did enjoy it. was kind of horrible though when james got hurt, he was all discombobulated.

True, that bit was bad   especially the blood on the stones where he'd hit his head.
I'd read in the news before that he was fine, so guess i was kind of ok about it.

i was all a wubble. (is that a word? if not.. i deem it a word... oed be damned!) although 'where am i?' is such a cliche... *determined to think of something wittier next time she's concussed*

I've heard of wibble...  wubble is a great description too

ah.. wibble must be what i meant... still, it shall remain wubble... sounds cool. i am determined to use that in real conversations now.

My Mum made up the word "beezler". A beezler is a stray cat knocking round the neighborhood, usually dripping with the cat flu, mangy and a bit disreputable. However if you're kind to them ( she used to pat them with a rolled up newspaper ) and feed them, they're incredibly friendly. Beezler. Perfect.

we used to have a beezler here (good word by the way), he was called boss cat (not as original, but tells you what you need to know), had one ear, a limp, one eye... we used to feed him out the kitchen window when we were decanted round the corner. we don't seem to have any local strays nowadays.

Good on you for looking after Boss Cat  .Y'know thats very true, you don't see strays around any more . The only cats I see round my location are posh.
I also used to adore farm cats / the country equivalent of beezlers, we'd see them whenever we went on holiday. They were usually tortoise shell-ish, definitely not bred for beauty, and totally self-sufficient (ie nobody ever fed them ).


Aww cats... been thinking about them recently - someone suggested I get one but they're not allowed in my apartment building.

that's what they call it... lol when your tenement is being renovated they put you in a temporary council house. ours was just round the corner. handy.

yeah, posh cats. sitting at their windows looking down on you.

Errrr... they possibly don't think much of the tenants if they use the word "decanted"?
