Terry Prachett just did a speech at my old Uni, where he's been made an Adjunct Professor of English. Yay! He did a lovely interview with Ryan Tubridy on RTE 2 FM. Here's a link to the podcast if you'd like to hear him: http://www.rte.ie/radio1/podcast/podcast_tubridy.xml
I love his saying that he's developed a taste for @rsekicking because there are such a large amount of them around.
b.t.w. Jedward! Ye Gods! Poor Glasgow

Heh heh, was the Glasgow crowd's reaction like this: +
PTerry is lovely isn't he, I could listen to him all day.
nah... glasgow is full of neds/chavs who think the x factor actually means anything.
would be lovely if terry did his own audio books... unfortunately, i think reading out loud would be a problem now.

that said 'i shall wear midnight' was amazing. i thought the last two books before that weren't as good/didn't make sense, but i think that was mainly me not liking moist von lipwig for making money though.

Its a duff idea for a show even JM's charms can't tempt me.
Have you ever seen Sue Perkins and Giles Coren's shows? I love those two together. Their latest one, The Good Life is funny so far. I'm old enough to remember that sitcom, it was rubbish but everyone watched it.

got through a chunk today. still have chuck and leverage to get through.
not been watching it. it's being advertised as something lost fans would like. BUT, it has aliens in it. lost fans spent 6 seasons saying 'if this turns out to be aliens someone shall get hurt!'... aliens put me off. no to aliens!

Sorry things have been tough for you Ruby xx
I loved all the Supersizers shows, especially the WW2 one and the Eighties one. SUe Perkins is a laugh, and seems to have no vanity whatsoever.

Thanks for the heads up Ruby. I just read about it in the Guardian They're retracing the route to Bethlehem. Imagine Jezza in the politically sensitive middle east Oh Gawd, they'll have to tape his mouth up !!!
