Excellent! I'm sure he'll love them.
Excellent! I'm sure he'll love them.
You all set for Christmas Hitch? When are you off?
Still need to get my dad something, can't think... his birthday was only last month which makes finding something harder.
I stop on the 20th... two weeks to go... these two weeks will drag.
You got everything sorted?
Just a few stocking fillers still to get, thanks.
Two weeks Hopefully you don't have to do overtime?
Overtime yes, but car insurance will be due soon... that'll help.
Xmas dinner tomorrow... Help me?!
In school you mean?
Are you worried about having to help serve it or having to eat it
Yeah, in school. We get more people in, there's masses of food... it's a nightmare.
That does sound a nightmare
Any sign of your Tom Baker scarf yet?
I have it! Came today, ended up with it wrapped around my neck three times, soooo snug! Unfortunately the weather has been fairly mild the past few days. Rubbish timing!
I have found something for dad, just malteasers for the friends' bits and pieces pressies, and I'm done.
Excellent
Good stuffs you have your shopping done
I've been waiting for my Santa's pressies since Monday but Tesco Direct and Hermes have messed it up between them
Oh dear, hope it gets sorted out.
My dad's pressie popped through the door today, not bad since it said "12th to the 24th".
Thats good going
The delivery seems to have got lost now - no tracking for it at all. I will NEVER shop with Tesco Direct again and will avoid Hermes if I can help it. Tesco customer service [ the chat thing] is useless, been on to them six times. It was supposed to be express delivery b.t.w.
Tesco will only contact the couriers by email not phone so no wonder its been a disaster.
Disaster! I hope you can get it sorted. Blooming Tesco, only go cause it's round the corner.
Yesterday lived up to it's name. Completely gubbed.
Ended up stopping the order
The rugby? ah jeez bad luck
Oh dear... time to get something else sorted?
Ah well... we were up against the foot of Leigh Halfpenny two weeks in a row... Hopefully we'll beat the Italians next week... I'll be there... all snug in my 12' scarf.
Hopefully... even if its stuff from Asda groceries.
Even I've heard of Leigh Halfpenny so he must be good !
*fingers crossed*
Indeed he is. *nods*
Home made madeira today. It is lovely, much better than store bought. *nods*
Mmmm deelish. You're getting good at baking. Will you bake anything over Christmas?
Well... that was meant to be for Xmas... but I've made it far too early. Will be long gone by then.
Sacratorte looks fun... but maybe too chocolatey... swiss roll/yule log perhaps?
Sleeeeeeeeuuurrrp! You're getting me hungry. Never heard of sacratorte, is it Spanish?
I might make mince pies as I don't really like the mincmeat in shop bought ones - might add more nuts and apple.
