Well, first in the Golden Girls... Sophia Petrillo was apt to threaten people with it... but she used the hand sign to ward it off when doing so... *shrugs*

Plus, I have a copy of the Necromonicon (which is kiddie-on), so you know... interesting reading materials. 
Oooh how interesting. I've heard older people be afraid of it it. It would happen say, if someone was jealous of you, they'd put the evil eye on you. So you'd keep away from them.Could be an Irish /N.Irish thing, dunno?

Can never think of that without thinking of Abakebabra - a Dublin fast food chain. You only ate there when very very drunk.
I had a job interview with them once. They didn't last long in Glasgow. Hell, I don't even like kebabs.

I liked Finland, Malta and Netherlands. Didn't rate the winner much - how about you?
Albania. They had sparks shooting out the end of their guitar. 
I liked Greece. I like Gogol Bodello though, so that makes sense. 
The winner was the favourite... kind of forgettable really.

The hospital are discussing sending Da on to the Marie Curie hospice. Unfortunately nursing at home isn't an option with all the tubes etc. He sounds ok-ish on the phone. Its terribly sad but at least we've all had time to adjust now. We just pray for a peaceful end I suppose.
I got whatever my colleague had last weekend. spent friday and saturday in bed mostly.
