Ahh right. Maybe I got confused with guard dogs like rotties and dobermans whose tails are docked.
Don't agree with docked tails though

Well, I've always found those dogs to be softies too... Just a tad more intelligent (ok, maybe not Paris, but she was still young) and toothy.
I hate tail docking too. Staffies are more fun when you have bruises from tail wagging.
You had a rottie or a doberman? Sounds like you have lots of experience of doggies. Lucky you. Wish I had one
We had a lovely labrador/ collie / god knows what else cross called Brandy. Had to give him to our cousins as he made my Mums asthma bad.
I've never had a dog myself. I've known people with dogs though. Used to have a rottie upstairs called Bertha, and there was a few others in the neighbourhood in the 80s. All softies, apart from Roxy...
I've always wanted a dog... or a cat... all I got were goldfish.
Aww shame. If I was allowed a cat here would get one.
A nice wee scottish fold with the cute ears. That would be lovely.
They are ridiculously cute
I'd get a real moggy. Or "beezlers" my mum used to call them. Beezlers are the diseased looking ones with drippy noses who don't seem to belong to anyone They look tough but they're usually so friendly. Maybe cos no one ever pats them? She would pat them with a rolled up newspaper + they would purr like billi-oh.
Like bosscat... we would never dare pet bosscat though... he accepted bits of meat from your pieces though, which was good because I hate meat on my pieces.
Bosscat sounds an appropriate name lol.
You say pieces for sandwhiches?
Yes. it is.
Also, yes, I do. Best word for a bread based snack ever.
It is. We say it also eg a jam piece. Not R.O.I. only N.I. Must be the Scots influence?
Its funny because Americans sometimes call a piece a gun.
Don't be saying it walking through customs
Imagine you absent-mindedly mentioned you wanted "cheese on your piece", would they just think it was a typical limey misunderstanding of guns?
Thanks I enjoyed that!!
I've got an urge to fling a piece now
Tenement life... praying against all odds that you'll catch your lunch.
I have now seen the Avengers. I am no longer "meh" with regards to the Hulk, Tony Stark was sweet looking out for him... Not liking Captain America, except for the "a reference I get" scene... Joss Whedon is a god. *nods*
at your description of tenement life.
Theres only one Hulk for me... the 70's one. My bruv used to take the p out of me for crying at its frequent sad endings. I'd get cross and fight with him
Bad brother. *nods* I have a tendency to get weepy easily... Littlest Hobo done for me... Same deal really, Turns up, saves day, leaves. Although, the dog could stay if it chose, Dr Banner was too dangerous.
I dunno... some pictures of Mark Ruffalo appeared on my Tumblr dashboard and... I... just... can't... Dude is rather hairy... (better edit to add that he is the Hulk in Avengers, and not some random guy.
)
Yes, know him. Some guys have something about them... he's one.
How are you keeping? Still doing overtime? Bet you're looking forward to your Easter hols.
I'm alright, Haven't done any over time for a few weeks... I think they are trying to cut down on it... which isn't good since they've cut staffing to a bare minimum. Easter hols will be immense, I will only be out of bed at this time on the 29th because I have a rugby match to go to.
How have you been keeping? Things ok with your dad? Got a new, less psycho neighbour yet?
Sounds like you're being hit by cuts up there My father apparently is shuffling round fine Owen says. Don't think he wants or needs the care assistants. Funny how he was so sick in NHS hospital and fine since he got home.
Neighbour is gone but with building keys + the last letter was taunting me saying she's been sending info about me to journalists. CMHT have been awful - the new nurse is lovely but have hardly seen her as she's been off. Umm I started a thread about it in BB forum cos its a good place to get advice and got some lovely replies.
You should come up to the BB forum you'd like it. Keep meaning to ask you but didn't want to be pushy.
Leaves trail of pringles... tempting Hitch..^^^
Good to hear he's up and about. Did he get things? like picker-upper stick and booster seat for the loo? Home is better, hospitals aren't nice places.
Can they not change the locks? Would seem like a good idea... Shame about the nurse, hopefully she'll be back asap.
Pringles are tempting... I have wondered that way once or twice... not entirely comfortable, plus would have to vacate when bb came on or I'd do the nut. *ahem*
