Breakfast club, 2 of us in soul "control" of about 50 kids for 45 minutes... fun times. lol Got about an hour of 200-ish of them at lunch too, but they are rushed through, whereas breakfast they have to stay in.

Eeeeek!  My flat flooded last night - the connecting nut of the water pipe under the sink got loose and sprayed water in a big jet. Bad it was. The man downstairs knocked saying it was pouring into his flat. Couldn't turn the water supply off as the valve was stiff - took a while!  Put towels, sponges, even duvets and clothes down to mop up the water. Can fix the leak myself but the escape of water won't be covered by buildings insurance so I'll have to pay the poor man for the damage. 

... Its only a tiny flat like mine, so he can't have much damage can he? *gulp* 

Oh my gods! Nightmare...

It was flipping scary - at first I thought it was a burst pipe. I was soaked to the skin trying to catch it in a bucket.

Haven't looked but put a note under his door with my contact details and that I'd pay for the damage etc. Luckily I have a dehumidifier - bought only recently - which sucks water out of the air and should dry the floor out.

Well, that's handy... hopefully it worked?

Hope it wont cost too much.

The dehumidifier works great - sucks in maybe 2-3 litres of water a day?

All my stuff is lying out to dry.

Haven't heard from him yet. However my flat in Dublin had a roof leak - all they did was lend me a dehumidifier and replace my hall carpet. So hopefully he won't overestimate the cost.

Oh b.t.w. bought the dehumidifier to dry washing -  less space than a tumble dryer + cheaper to run.

Oh that's sounds good. We have a large built in wardrobe in the back room, the hot water tank is in there, great for drying clothes.

Only really getting a chance  to read in my work break, currently reading H P Lovecraft which is a big book. I'm at 47%... got "the brick" (aka Les Mis) to read after. lol

I am... you can tell he's been influenced by Poe. I prefer when he writes about the Dreamlands and gibbering things from beyond. Call of Cthulhu was everything I hoped it would be, Pickman's Model made me scared of the dark for a while until he tied a bunch of older stories together in one larger story, in which I grew to like Pickman's models inspite of what they were.

No not yet. I left a note to forward me the bill so it'll probably take a while to assess the costs.
