Don't know if you were a David Bowie fan Hitch, but it was sad news yesterday wasn't it?  I must admit to shedding a tear. I love the oddness of his songs. I was given his Greatest Hits as a gift back in the 90's, I only knew the Lets Dance Bowie up until then, so his his earlier stuff was a really pleasant surprise. Totally out there. Rebel Rebel became my favourite song.

Someone today described him as the patron saint of misfits, that probably sums up his appeal.

You''re getting pretty hot at baking, well done Hitch.

JM's show was pretty good - seemed more in the TG style than his normal solo shows, or maybe that was just my imagination. There were definitely a couple of allusions made by JM.

It was good to see him though, I had missed that permanently perplexed way he has.

And on Wed, Thu and Fri there's Unsprung on the Interactive channel (601 on freeview) as well, just after the main programme.

Ta Fluffy  Wonder how Martin slept during a blustery night in his tent? Marginally safer than the melting snow hole.  Are they trying to turn him into Bear Grylls or something?

It was! He ate cheese he found in the fridge from 1967. Then produced a pie chart to show the contents of his...   ... the results of that.

Yes it was so stormy at one point when they were sitting by the outside fire, it looked almost dangerous .

There was a clip of a red squirrel merrily eating at a feeder then a gust of wind just whisked it away. So sweet
