did anyone see that a-team trailer that got leaked last week?
looked not bad. i did cringe at the 'i love it when a plan comes together.', i just kept thinking 'but you aren't Hannibal... '
Former Member
Didn't see the trailer but saw a pic of Liam Neeson chomping a cigar + it looked all wrong. He doesn't have the charisma nor the twinkle in his eye of George Peppard. No no no.
that was liam neeson?! boy i did not recognise him!

Indeed It was. Not an obvious choice for the role.. I was thinking a greyed up John Travolta, or someone like that.
i actually like the look of the ba and the murdock... faceman isn't working for me though... he reminds me more of the face from the pilot episode. (the non-dirk face)

Yeh he doesn't look right... but what an act to follow.
*nods* this is true...

Come to think of it... it would have been nice if they'd offered Dirk a cameo role in it.
i think i heard that there would be cameos... like with tv marvin in the hitch hiker's guide movie. (yes, i squee'd loudly at that bit. )
fingers crossed anyway... if they do and you hear a loud whoop in the cinema.. that'll be me.

Hiya rosie no I didn't hear from temps at all, but not checked digi spy for ages either, oh Hitch sorry to leave it so long between posts I am a bad bad girl
Rosie I think Hitch means battle star galactica, for bsg.
yes, battlestar galactica (old skool version)
glee is rather good... meant to be a bit hit and miss though. and i didn't enjoy the 'preggers' episode, not a fan of that single ladies song.
ruby? shall i have to use the bungee cord again? (can't remember if the bungee cord was a joke here or elsewhere, but it works. :nods: )

Yeh Vista Home Premium is a lot different, Basic was a waste of time.
My smilies work now On the negative side, the customer service from PC World was appalling. They were inadvertently given the wrong delivery address and then ignored 3 emails and a phone call requesting them to correct it. In the end i had to make several internet searches + frantic calls to the couriers until I located the right depot + tell them. Think they spend more on their ads than they do on after sales service

pc world are shocking really. their ads are (or at least used to be) made by 'the mob' who do the discworld movies, which i've never been overly thrilled with.
when we bought this computer it came with a free health check... but that's an 'instore service' which means i would have to lug the desktop's tower to finneston, via bus... not happening. wish we had the nerd herd instead of the tech squad.. they are fictional but do home visits.

Heh heh I like the sound of the nerd squad do they arrive in a souped up van?
Vista was voted the worst gadget on the gadget show of the last decade I think. Souped up van? tomato chicken you decide *daft moment over* Oh and Hitch Wot bungee cord? Getting older so I don't remember.
the nerd herd drive toyota yaris with nerd herd branding on them... but chuck's has been fiddled with by one of the agencies looking after him, so his is 'souped up'.
(i add to all that ... watch chuck! it's so sweet!)
oh. anyone seen the new insurance add with stephen fry and paul merton? the a-team van runs into the trotter's 3 wheeler... the three wheeler survives. ba is kind to the underdog. on a similar note, my mum asked me to help her with a puzzle in one of her magazies...
q: find all 4 members of the a-team.
me: way ahead of you!
and they actually put full-ish names (well, all that is known), except for ba... neither 'bad ass' nor 'bosco albert' was put for him... merely ba. since i found him last it dented my cheerfulness at templeton 'faceman' peck, john 'hannibal' smith and hm 'howling mad' murdock.

Neil doing strictly? That would be cool I agree, is he quite tall? *pictures him as she squints* Erin tends to get tallish partners or it could be Canadian Katya.
Had a Jezza dream last night , it was dead cool, we were team mates on a race and we were in a speedboat and we were going so fast that the water was white and silvery going over us in an arc and hitting the water perfectly behind us, then we were in a rackety wooden type tram where the line finally met the beach and it stopped on the sand. We thought we were last, so we ate, then went running up stone steps as we found out we were finishing 10th out of 52 teams!!! If we hadn't stopped to eat who knows?
Even now I can 'see' the arc of water really clearly, there was a bit more but i can't remember.
