My Aunty Lily used to bake apple cakes with 5p and a ring in them [ a brass curtain ring]. It was fun to see who'd get the lucky slice.

No sooner have we spoken of uploading halloween pics than the forum has changed + we need to upgrade membership for that. I think I will pay as its only approx ÂĢ15 and I don't know what I'd do without the edit facility as my typos are terrible.

I didn't know you could upload pics straight from our pc to here anyway [apart from avi pics when editing our profile]. You can still insert images available on the net by C+P'ing the url in the box...Hmmm how to post my halloween pics - possibly upload them somewhere, like photobucket.

My horrible neighbour is gone!!!!! Police broke into her flat yesterday but she'd done a runner Sunday I think [leaving much of her stuff behind]. They reached her on her mobile and told her that if she returned here they would arrest her for mental health sectioning. The landlord is changing the locks apparently.
So thats that - hopefully.

I got my Tesco delivery, complete with Pumpkin, baking ingredients, food colouring and also a Halloween lucky bag 
It is good. Remember the last couple of seasons? Remember how bad they were? Vast improvement. No Holly though, I miss Holly.

Oh aye its got a set of fangs, 2 chews, a dinosaur trading card [?] a spooky colouring book and crayons. Just my level
Think I'll fashion bat and skull cardboard cutouts and just cut the pastry round those.

Nightmare before Xmas (which includes Vincent and original recipe Frankenweenie) Corpse Bride. Bought some spooky cookie cutters, no skulls... not bad for a ÂĢ1 though.

Tim Burton I used to like. He has a tendency to use Johnny Depp (who has played everyone the same for over a decade) and he dared to touch Dark Shadows. 
I got a ghost, a cat, a pumpkin, a haunted house, a bat and a grave stone. If you saw Fiona Cairns show on ITV on Sunday, those exact ones.
