But I can do it!

Is it not just follow the route west through Clydebank, cross the Erskine bridge and turn left at the end.....or were you doing the M8 through Glasgow?

Umm... I went through the Clyde tunnel then took the right at the roundabout. Since I live by the tunnel entrance, seems daft to go any other way. Not sure about the M8... I go down streets, never know which ones they are. It's right across the water which is the worst thing. They need to build a bridge.

How is Dorset? I have a souvenir tray in the kitchen... looks pretty.

As was twitter, not a popular lady this Helen. *nods*

Totally forgot about the Clyde tunnel option! I'm older than the tunnel,we always used the ferry. I'm older than the Erskine bridge too, but it's not so easy to forget! I'm originally from Clydebank myself.

Dorset's lovely! Quite expensive to live here though.

Unless it's something they're only going to show on Scottish TV, they're always going to favour the non-Scot.

Dirk was amazing.

I was first in his queue, the first couple of pens he tried didn't work... he was in a grump. He went to hand me back my boxset, I went to take it, he pulled it back, said "Thank you for remembering me." handed me the boxset and went "Who am I again?".

Then his panel was hilarious. I didn't know he played Columbo on stage. Never came north of the border with it. That said, when the moderator instead of saying "one more question" asked him for "just one more thing"... he misunderstood and launched into the whole Columbo act. It was the stuff of legends.

Sylvester McCoy is also the cutest of all the cuties. He had to "go off for an euphemism."

I also, bought stuffs... too many stuffs. I got a new bag (I needed one. It's Wonder Woman.),  A Drax Funko Pop figurine (I always get one), a Hufflepuff notebook, a little Totoro and 5 badges (I said I wouldn't, but I passed the stall and went "Ooh! Is that Illya Kuryakin?". I now have a bunch of retro badges.

Julian Glover had an issue with some locked doors... I was the only witness.

Best day ever... and we've got new Who to come.

Ok, second try as Facebook and Shockwave are working together to break my laptop.

Dirk is looking fabulous for his 69 years. I give you (slightly blurry) photographic evidence.

I have issues getting this one to stay upright... but  you get the idea. Dude doesn't stand still for a minute.

As for what he wrote...

I do wonder what he would've wrote on an A-Team thing, since that was so specific to Battlestar. I see a picture of the A-Team on his table for signing that made me rue bring that awkward dvd set... but that was mainly because of Dwight's face on it. XD

I had to write those URLs in manually, shockwave being an arse on Photobucket too it seems.

ETA: Here's the one that made Temps exclaim "You were so close to him!".

On the Monday, there was the normal "Do anything good this weekend?" conversation. So, I was all "I got my Battlestar Galactica DVD signed by Dirk Benedict on Saturday." *massive grin of 'be jealous'*...

You what reply I got?

"I don't know who that is."

I was aghast. She's in her 50s, she would've been in her early twenties when he was in his TV hunk prime... How?
