Well, I like that Brienne and Pod are together sooner. I like that they changed Jon's storyline, because the book one was duller/more political... as long as they don't miss out a certain new character. Although, Pyp should have stood up with Grenn and Edd.

The White Walkers... That's the interesting one. We haven't got there in the books. It was kind of a nice surprise. Will be interesting to see if it changes any in the books.

Yes, was terrible. Bran's storyline has changed too... they never go near Craster's in the book. Ghost should be with Jon too. Bran's storyline has been summed up in 4 words... but I'll not tell you for now.. especially since all bets are off.

Brienne and Pod are ace in the books, too popular smaller characters working together.

Oh work... Well, the past two days I was short staffed, kitchen and cleaning (same person), I didn't get my kitchen breaks. I can't tell you how happy I am that this is a long weekend.

Doing ok thank you. Still having care problems, only worse after I raised concerns. Now its cancelled home visits and when I enquire, people are out / off.   Need to reapply for my medical records as they came out incomplete. 

Working through more mindfulness/ meditation /CBT  on kindle and audible, which helps. *coff*  Last week was the longest single meditation session so far [with guided audio] ....45 mins!!! Yoga next

I am currently defrosting. Scotland won all three of our matches today (as did Fiji), Niko Matawalu was there (if at the opposite end of the stadium) and I saw someone dressed as a dragon and another person dressed as a lion get dragged off by security.

No, it's fancy dress on the party stand... these were over excited pitch invaders. (not during play I'll add.) One actually scored a pretty good drop goal.

Only mascot there was lovely Clyde (the cow... not the ugly thistle thing for the commonwealth games.) Normally, Edinburgh's stag is there too. He wasn't.

Yes, the theme this year is the circus... a lot of clowns/animal onsies. Some people were dressed as Tetris pieces and a stag party were all Wally.

Last year on the way out... I had to run through a tunnel of Smurfs, high fiving them as I went.

 Thats mad - sounds great fun though. 

Today, the stag party of guys dressed as Where's Wally did a mass pitch invasion. Scotland came forth.

She did... she knows it's spring... even if spring doesn't.

My love of Edd, Grenn, Pod and Brienne grows weekly. Edd is my favourite in the book, he's hilarious.

She hibernates through winter. Smaller, fewer traps. We caught her a bluebottle recently, she's happy.

 Glad Venus is doing well. Hope she enjoyed her "snack".

In other plant news... first flower seedling sprouted... a marigold. Also planted an an apple pip for a laugh. Its sprouted - going to see if I can make a little bonsai out of it.

Ohh! Good luck with the mini apple tree. You wouldn't get mini apples from it would you?

Apparently sometimes you can, if you grow it in a biggish pot. They're hard to grow inside though - they like to be outside in the blustery weather apparently.

Currently I have mint, chives [both half dead but reviving] an apple seedling and a marigold seedling. Got lots lots more seeds to sow tonight. Will be partly using the compost I made last year, so here's hoping.

Snipped up mint leaves with balsamic vinegar are lovely on lamb chops. And chives are nice in mayo or just thrown into any dish. They're the easiest to grow - the other herbs didn't do well.

Umm... right now she has developed a weed. *ahem* I should probably pull it out...

A mint recipe for you. mayo+natural yoghurt, cucumber and mint, sort of like tzatziki. We used to make it in work to go with the chili tacos. Could justr have it with pita bread dipped in, had that in Greece. Was yum.

Oooh thanks, that sounds yummy, must make that. Would like to try more Greek food. Had Feta cheese last year mmmm.

I went to Argassi on Zakynthos (or Zante, if you'd rather). Not far from Athens (could see the lights across the sea at night). It not a horrible clubby area with the 18-30s (oh my gods... never get stuck on a plane with them!), A few bars and cafes... nice place.

Feta is nice... you tended to get that in most things over there.

Sounds a nice place  I always wanted to see Greece [not the mad clubby places obv]. Is Greek food nice?
