I guess it's the whole hose pipe ban thing... or at least not wasting water in a general ecomentalist type way.
Yes thats it, don't waste water and all that.
Happy Easter Hitch did you get some nice eggs? No proper chocs for me this year but I have some Atkins bars.
no eggs for me. I got a box of thornton's treacle toffee, finished by good friday, naturally.
Couldn't wait eh?
I didn't even eat my Atkins bars. Luckily at the moment I have no sweet tooth.
their treacle toffee... 'tis my achilles heel!
Yeah sweet tooth... couldn't have faced all that chocolate...
Just caught up with Once Upon a Time on demand 5 - no ads!
I'm finding the sheriff's accent a bit distracting, but otherwise its good.
On that point I may h... nope, nevermind!
It is lovely and demand 5 has lead to me being very unhealthy with the amount of watchings. *nods*
Its surprisingly dark too. Although I somehow can't bring myself to dislike the Mayor lady.
Robert Carlyle is chewing the scenery heh heh
if you can't chew scenery as Rumpy when can you chew scenery?
Oh give it a while... lol I love to hate her. I don't want to say too much about anything, being on episode 18 and what not...
if you can't chew scenery as Rumpy when can you chew scenery?
Yeah, exactly
I look forward to hating the evil queen / mayor. She did do her father in after all.
poor Henry, he was a simpering idiot... Didn't desevre to to die for a porrly thought out revenge mission.
Oh Henry the father! For a minute I thought you meant the wee boy, phew.
Also the man who plays Sidney Glass, played a terrible villain in Breaking Bad; its hard to get used to him in this. Although he is playing another bad guy.
he was on the wire too apparently... but, this is the first thing i've seen him in.
I love the puns in this sometimes... really cheesy. Sidney Glass, Storybrooke Mirror. Archie "Hopper", Mary Margaret "Blanchard", Regina "Mills"... Some of the good ones I can't mention yet. *doh*
I hadn't noticed the puns... ohh yeah now you mention it
Ooh... Just watched the Pointless repeat that had Discworld novels as a final round question...
Having trouble copying with i) how many pointless answers there were ii) that there were so many watch/witches books listed... I would've thought stand alones...
I haven't shut up about this yet... (you can probably tell )
I know how it feels. The Guardian on its blog had 2 reports recently by 2 people [authors not repliers ] who hadn't even watched Mad Men... one stayed
I haven't watched Mad Men.
Mad Men and American Dad are currently my favourite programmes.
Mad Men is a slow character study. Not for everyone,maybe... its a bit umm....languorous? Once you fall in love with the characters, their every move/utterance seems important though.
American Dad is brilliant and accessible though.
Hitch - you've introduced me to lots of good tv. I'd be delighted if you could be converted to the joys of Roger the Alien ... gotta be the best TV character ever?
The thing with American Dad is... I hate Family Guy... *ahem* It's the same style, the same people...
I've seen bits of Mad Men, just not feeling it... I'm a fussy person.
