Aquafresh probably have included a bleaching agent in their toothpaste (like most other brands have done) that can sting if it comes into contact with skin. Everyone's skin is different though so not all would be affected by it.

I got toothpaste in my eye yesterday. Just a tiny bit and it was junior so not to bad

if you ingest too much toothpaste with flouride in it can kill you... i think it was flouride, was on CSI   i think....

Toothpaste doesn't burn my skin...but Johnsons baby lotion does.

Dunno about that but if you brush your teeth too much with flouride toothpaste it can soften the enamel and cause more harm than good. I brush my teeth about 4 times a day but only pea sized amounts. My son believes in using canoe sized amounts and half of it ends up all over the sink and on the tiles

No its really harsh....I wouldn't use it on my kid...and generally i can slap anything on me boat...but not that!

Actually Croc - I agree with you. I never used Johnson's baby lotion on ,my kid's btm. I always used Boots own.
Johnson's is very highly scented,

Johnsons baby lotion seems to have changed in the last couple of years though. I have used it since I was about 11 and still use it as a cleanser/make-up remover every day, but have also noticed it is a lot more potent than it used to be and I can't understand why.
