i just heard this on the news....I liked him too....
Before I saw his films first knew him when i was a kid in the persuaders with Roger Moore...but very funny in Some Like it Hot...with his dodgy Cary Grant impression.

nope, At least I don't think he was, He's daughter is Jamie Leigh, as in Jamie Leigh Curtis.

Tony Curtis was in The Pursuaders, not Randall & Hopkirk (Mike Pratt and Kenneth Cope).
Wasn't he the one who made the DA hairstyle popular back in the day...?
I really liked him and my mum was a big fan (she insisted on calling him Bernie the Beauty). Apart from the films already mentioned, he was really good as The Boston Strangler and Houdini. Used to like watching his old movies on a Saturday afternoon when I was a kid.

He was "beautiful" as a young man.Bet he had some tales to tell.I remember him stating he didn't rate Marilyn Monroe at all, seems she had bad halitosis.

Aw he was a bit of a looker in his day, must have been a fair age tho , Another Hollywood great gone. I saw him being interviewed a while back, he had lived with the guilt of his brother being killed. He wanted him to go out to play and he had said no, the lad went and got run over, it was a very emotional interview. R.I.P Tony
