DAY 81

10.47am

Housemates have been awake for the last 13 minutes.

Marcus asks Sophie if she stole a can from his drawer last night - which she confirms. He says that it is 'pathetic' and 'very poor' and states he is annoyed with her for doing something he explicitly told her not to. Sophie questions why she is getting all the blame when she didn't open the can and was not the only one responsible for deciding to take them.

11.06am

Charlie is in the Diary Room talking about Rodrigo. He says that one minute they are best mates but the next minute think that they never want to see each other again. He describes the situation as 'weird', but reiterates they are 'just mates really'

Sophie and Siavash are in the Bedroom. Siavash asks whose idea it was to steal Marcus' cans. Sophie doesn't reveal who came up with the plan, but says that she will nominate Marcus on Monday for having a go at her. As she leaves the room Siavash mutters 'children, children' to himself.

Out in the Garden Rodrigo and Charlie attempt to have a conversation in code relating to what Charlie discussed in the Diary Room. They put a duvet over their heads and their discussion becomes largely inaudible, but Rodrigo utters 'You didn't tell… I was worried'

12.40pm

Sophie is in the Diary Room. She is complaining about Marcus and says that she is annoyed that he got angry with her taking his can. She calls him an 'idiot' and 'a disgusting vile thing' and suggests that he sits around all day 'doing naff all'. She believes that since he has survived evictions he 'thinks he is bloody God' and accuses him of being 'immature, swinging that pony tail around'. She vows to not speak to him for the whole time that she remains in the house.

12.51pm

Rodrigo and David are in the Kitchen chatting about flirting and one night stands. David tells Rodrigo that he has had his 'fair share' but that that he likes to flirt and then at the end of a night take his pick of men.

Some of the housemates are in the Garden. Siavash informs Sophie that 'you can make fake clouds' and therefore it is possible to make 'fake rain' in countries which don't have a lot of rainfall. He reveals that it is one of his ambitions to be able to make a fake cloud that he can use as a shower.

1.48pm

David and Charlie are in the Garden, discussing how being in the Big Brother house has been the best time of their lives. David is called to the Diary Room.

In the Diary Room David is informed that today's task requires Housemates to brush their teeth for 1 minute with an unusual substance. If housemates complete the task individually they will win a token each, and if all housemates manage it they will be played some of their favourite music. They are also forbidden from discussing the task with other housemates.

David has to do this with Stinking Bishop cheese. Upon opening the jar, David remarks that it 'stinks like sweaty feet'. He proceeds to brush his teeth, continually retching and gagging as he does. After he completes the task he asks 'What is that?' Big Brother replies 'It was cheese' and David resolves 'I shan't be having that on toast'. David leaves the Diary Room and hurries to the bathroom to brush his teeth.

2.10pm

Big Brother has called Sophie to the Diary Room. Sophie is given pickled catfish to brush her teeth with. Sophie sniffs the catfish and grimaces saying 'You are having a laugh'. After a short attempt, she gives up declaring 'I can't do that'.

2.58pm

Most of the Housemates are in the Garden. Siavash asks David about when he came out as gay. David reveals that he first slept with a man when he was 22 or 23 after meeting him at a nightclub and then going back to his flat.

Marcus is in the Diary Room taking part in today's task. BB informs Marcus that he will have to brush his teeth with Stinking tofu, explaining that in some parts of Asia vendors of the substance have been charged with air pollution. An unperturbed Marcus brushes his teeth with the tofu and completes the task with ease.

3.28pm

Siavash is the final housemate to take part in today's task. Lisa successfully managed to brush her teeth with Chilli paste while Charlie completed the task by brushing his teeth with Marmite.

In the Diary Room Siavash comments that the shrimp paste he will have to brush his teeth with 'smells of feet' or 'dead cats'. He sniffs at it and remarks 'Oh God…that can't be health and safety'

As he brushes, Siavash winces and shrieks, repeatedly uttering 'oh God' and letting out several high pitched noises. After completing the task he moans that he has got some of the paste on his clothes and in his nose - which he then blows on a towel provided by Big Brother.

4.43pm

All of the Housemates have been gathered at the Dining Table for the results of today's task. Big Brother reveals that as 6 housemates completed the task they will receive 6 tokens. However, as Sophie failed, housemates will not be provided with a selection of their favourite music.

Lisa doesn't react well to the failure saying 'We need music…I'd rather have had no tokens'. She goes outside for a cigarette with David. At the bus stop Lisa moans to David about Sophie failing saying it was only a 'bit of food on teeth' and 'if it was acid fair enough'. David replies 'Now now, she tried'.

5.01pm

Sophie, Rodrigo and Siavash are at the Dining table. Sophie says 'I guarantee I will be up this week'. Siavash suggests that all housemates should talk later about what they are going to do about nominations. Rodrigo says that he 'will not do it in the wrong way' and Siavash proposes 'Let's not nominate at all'.

Lisa, David and Charlie are in the Garden. Lisa asks David how many men he has slept with, David replies 'not as many as you think' and Charlie estimates 'about 100'. David maintains that he is a 'romantic guy' and that he will not have sex 'at the back of a skip or in a toilet'

Sophie enters the Bedroom and says to Marcus that she thinks it will be her, him and Siavash up for eviction this week. Marcus remarks that Siavash is not doing himself any favours by talking about nominations all the time and Sophie points out that 'some people are scared going up' and to want to get into the final without facing eviction is the 'coward's way'

7.18pm

Sophie, Marcus and Siavash are in the Bedroom. Sophie talks to Siavash about Sweden asking questions such as 'Is Sweden a big country? Are they all blonde? Where is Sweden? Is it near America?'

Sophie then admits that she thought Africa was a country. They start a game where players have to name a country which begins with the letter the previous country ended with. After a couple of rounds Siavash says 'Albania' and Sophie follows with 'Iraq'. She then comments 'This is giving me a headache'.

8.14pm

Some of the housemates are in the Bedroom Sophie puts a waxing strip on Siavash's arm. She warns 'this is going to hurt' and rips off the strip. Siavash reacts by yelping and saying 'F*ck! You didn't pull it properly!'

Lisa is in the Diary Room. Lisa tells Big Brother that everyone is talking about nominations and that some people are getting scared.

Back in the Bedroom Sophie has an eyebrow waxed. Siavash then has his eyebrow waxed but the strip doesn't work properly and half of it remains. When the remaining hair is eventually removed Siavash admits 'this is not a good look' and 'this does not look normal'

11.42pm

Rodrigo and Charlie are in the Bedroom. Rodrigo remarks that Charlie looks upset - Charlie says that he isn't but he is thinking about there only being 12 days left and that he doesn't want it to end.

David goes to the Diary Room. He tells Big Brother that it has been a 'fantastic day today… don't want to go home ever'. He goes on to talk about Charlie describing him as an 'amazing guy' and that 'good friends are hard to come by'. He states that Marcus doesn't want to go and that Siavash seems like the most competitive person in the house with regards to wanting to get to the final. He concludes by saying that nominations will be difficult this week with it being so close to the end.

I wonder why Siavash gets such a bad edit too.. why would anyone think he is afraid to be up.. he puts himself on the chopping block each week, they all seem to forget BB allows them to discuss nominations!!

I am really beginning to see what BB are up to... they choose who wins.. totally, and the people who vote are guided by their choice... Livefeed would eliminate that but there ya go... not much left to say... flavour of the week is marcus, wonder who it will be next week??

But even 24hr LF could have been manipulated with sound dips, cutting from group to group - focusing on the decor, in silence, when we knew that interesting stuff was happening - it was better i agree; but still manipulated. Big Grin
