I think they need to have a theme no matter what. Something they feel adds to the show, but in reality they have not used it as you say.

TBH, I'd be as pee'd off as him. Steph pushes my buttons and I'm not even in there.
In a way I feel sorry for John......he's shown great restraint by not planting her one
