I watched his life in music earlier, I never knew he had a xmas number 1

Where did you see his life in music? So sad that he didnt get to do his concerts. That would have been a defining moment for him and he was robbed of it. Thats what upset me the most. The cruel timing of his death. Crying

I know how you feel. My son's in the army and I haven't seen him since last August. He's coming down for a wedding this week though. Smiler

My son was in the Army for 8 years, I know what you go through every day. Hug

Miss Speedway yes there were loads of flowers laid at the o2 by fans it was very sweet but sad Frowner. There was also a white board to write messages on like they had outside the Staples Center in Los Angeles

Essex Angel your son was lucky to get tickets to see him shame he never got to go and also stay with you. I am sure you will see your son soon Hug

Reality Junkie I agree Michael was robbed of having his moment by performing for the fans after such a long time. Its so unfair Frowner

I saw it on 4music earlier. I read somewhere its disapointing that the King of Pop never got a chance to do his final curtain call.
Another star taken before his time

I think it was the drugs he was addicted to and the pressure of performing 50 shows what caused his death. Its so sad Frowner he was took to soon. Its a loss for everyone around the world

You can speak and type how you want Roxi. But you just make yourself look foolish to state that correct usage of 'have' and 'of' is a matter of opinion.

think of it this way. You wouldn't say "I of done this", you'd say "I have done this".

Well it's the same rules when you are saying I would have done this

Provided it's not done in a mean way then it could be seen as constructive. Writing "should of" in a CV or job application probably won't help get the job if it needs writing skills. It stands out too much.

If he'd only been playing 10 dates, wouldn't he
of put the same energy into the rehearsals, Had he sadly died halfway through the dates, I could see your point, The 50 dates were over 8 months.

You can't pull someone up on grammar in a constuctive way. Those of us who struggled with English at school will never get better. 'Tis much the same as some people will never be numerate.
