Cagney, that song was brilliantly apt.
Aww that's a shame.  It's the waiting that's the worst too. Once you're up there adrenaline takes over. Hope it goes well on Sunday

This is gonna sound cheeky...but....are you quite light Cinds? The reason I ask is they normally take the lightest ones first. When I did it I was taken up first (it was all big heavy guys doing it the same day as me) and they wanted to test the wind

You'll love it though. Something to tick off the list of "mad things I did when I was younger"

I'm a LOT lighter than I was 5 months ago (like 40lbs+ lighter)

I'm laughing at the 'heavy guys' bit, as Mr Cinds says he falls like a grand piano and makes a whistling noise when he jumps as he's so heavy.

Hmmmmmmmmmm ..............not good re the stress - but well done on the other weight loss. It's taken me two months to lose a stone! Still plodding away - it's slow progress but TBH - I don't deprive myself too much.

Soozy Woo

About 30 minutes or so after my last post the weather cleared. I did the jump at around 1 o'clock and I loved loved LOVED it  I can't wait to do it again.  Mr Cinds jumped on the same lift immediately before me, but had we had more time to prepare the instructor I was attached to had said Dan (because he has his FS1 certificate) could have actually jumped with us and held my hands.  I was no where near as nervous as I thought I would have been.  But there's a brilliant moment on the video (which I should get a copy of next week) where we are in the door just about to go and I'm all smiles, then the instructor rocks back to propel us out of the plane and my face changes, for a split second, from smiling to sheer horror then back to smiles.  I've got a cd of all the stills from the video and I am busy uploading them now. Soon as they're done I'll be back to post some.

Everybody, go and do it, I am absolutely buzzing and so so pleased I did it.

Cinds

Lori, I am so pleased with myself for doing it, I really never thought I would actually do it AND enjoy it as much as I did.  To be honest, after the training this morning, I really thought I was going to bottle out of it. (I wonder if I would have still got the watch? )  But it was amazing and would recommend it to everyone (I now know what I am getting the boy for his 16th birthday present).
