Tom is an amazing actor and a really versatile one, and on top of that, he is a lovely guy...  and very humble.  Also he has a solid marriage and has been married about 25 years and he and his wife make a lovely couple...  I just hope he doesnt turn out to be one of those revolting men like Ryan Giggs, Mark Owen, Gary Lineker, Ronan Keating etc, who appeared to be lovely men who were loyal and faithful, but were secretly banging strippers/hookers/brainless bimbos/their sister-in-laws, and eff knows who else, for some 10 years or more before anyone found out, and it turns out that this wonderful, happy union was all a load of bollocks.

You're welcome Sweet Summer   The three Christmas films you mentioned are brilliant!!!  I also loved home alone 2, as well as the first one...    3 and 4 werent too good though.  I like Deck the halls too with Danny devito, and Christmas with the Kranks... even though they arent 'oscar winning classics.'    But the polar express.... never got on board with that...No pun intended...

I can't imagine Woody with any voice other than that of Tom Hanks. Toy Story rools!

I love Tom Hanks too, but have to say that almost everything I see him in now, he IS Woody...  Very good actor.

I liked his earlier films too."The money pit" "Big" and "The Burbs".

I can't watch the green mile, the bit that gets me most is when that evil guard steps on the prisoners wee mouse."Mr.Jingles"...then when we see the wee mouse still alive at the end, that made me cry more than the people getting fried.har! I love rodents.

Decent/good actor IMO though somewhat overrated methinks.  Still not done any culture shifting work.  Good though.

Bit weird all this, he's such a nice guy, stuff though?    From folk who don't know him and have never met him?  4 weeks ago Ryan Giggs was the nicest guy in football.

Not sure that teacher he outed at the Oscars (or was it the Golden Globes?) would have such a glowing endorsement.
