I think none of them are "genuine" they are all playing the game, some of them are just better at playing the game than others. Marcus is no better than the others just because his unhealthy obsession with Noirin is taking over it does not make him a genuine hm.

10 years on from the original BB, I suppose anyone with a brain going into the house accepts that the most likely outcome after leaving the house is a quick trip back to obscurity .... In that respect, Marcus and Freddie can probably be described as 'genuine' ...

Be under no illusion, Marcus is LOVING the fact that Tom has left.

Tom was put in to stir things up and to get in HMs heads. Within the game that was his purpose. Tom left of his own will because he was bored in there and because he felt he couldn't relate to anyone. He didn't like the role that was mapped out for him, this is why he didn't want to get with Noirin.

Marcus was glad tom was going as he fetched the worse out in him. Marcus exposed himself and not pleasant viewing.
