There we go.
No one spotted me.
Well, I was sat in my home, about a 5 minute walk from the Octagon Centre.
Off to buy Nicola Sturgeon a bit of supper (not a phrase you often hear round these parts).
Night night
You were in the audience EC?

No, I was having a bit of a joke, but would love to have been. I was feisty at times.

Seeing as Nicola is in town, I feel the hospitable thing to do is take her out for a drink and a meal. If you see this before the end of the evening - any thoughts on what I should serve up?

Thought JC won that. Forget the commentators. Don't think he attacked the Tories heavily at all, if once. Let's see what a costed Tory manifesto looks like - if they can publish one. No more of the last nine years. Too many needlessly dead people.
Noddy's just a no go area. Easy run when you aren't even in the competition.
Swinson looked like she was still in the Student's Union. She's gone and should be. Voting record as EC said for starters.
Enthusiastic Contrafibularities posted:Russian report - they are really taking him to task over that one.
Brushed aside as per. Bruce failed there. Neil wouldn't have - Spectator or not!
Johnson's only comfortable in front of a sycophantic fund raising dinner.
Deflector General.
One thing is certain after watching the main bits of it, our journalists are overpaid and useless. I am so pleased Johnson was called out on his racism and lies.
I'm not sure who's wheels fell off first, Johnson's or Swinsons....both had a car crash.
I still worry about the BBC bias, editing laughing at Johnson with applause and the guy who questioned Corbyn about racism is a Tory activist who has appeared on QT 4 times and 3 of those times he's been allowed a question. You are not allowed on QT more than twice in 10 years...
great to see Peter Orborne saying what we have all said for a long time
Did the BBC really do this? So shocking if true.

It seems they did. This kind of thing was normal on state TV in Soviet Russia. Should not happen in a democracy like Britain. The BBC urgently needs to explain itself.

ÂĢ250K a year for writing one partisan column a week. I think you're right Dame You could probably work that out per word.
And journalists don't count. Think they do but they don't. They're making hay in the next few years for sure but you just need to google them. Mad World.
Politicians shouldn't have outside interests for starters. And ban wifi, phones, tablets and sleep in the House of Commons. Look like you're interested in what's being said muppets. Or three strikes and you're out
Missed Andrew Marr show today. Especially wanted to hear what Swinson had to say. Not been a good week for Lib Dems IMO.
I'm watching the Andrew Neil interviews with JC tonight.
I would love to know what they say to each other at the end of the interview as the credits roll, especially given that it was a tough interview.

Watching the Channel 4 Leaders debate.
No Conservative or Brexit party.
Being a climate debate - the Green Party Leader seems to be getting a lot less airtime than all of the others. Surely it her main agenda.
They are all talking a hell of alot about what they would do - but the only party I think will carry out their green promises is the Green party.
They have ice sculptures in place of the conservative and brexit parties.
...they are melting.
Read into that what you will.

Not a surprise that Farage is a no-show seeing as the Brexit Party only really has the one policy.
Johnson sent his Dad and Gove along in his place, despite being repeatedly told that the debate was for party leaders only.
Apparently the Tories are now saying their going to complain to Ofcom because Channel 4 has denied them representation.
UPDATE:
The Tories have lodged an official complaint with Ofcom.
Just watching Newsnight - turns out it wasn't Channel 4 who refused to let Gove take part after all...
Apparently Gove asked Channel 4 to ask the other leaders if he could take part: they did so, and the leaders all said "No"!
Eugene's Lair posted:UPDATE:

Well, that's going to be a bit of a non-starter if it was actually the other leaders who said no.
So it seems now that it's the place holder that they're upset about.
...another day, another TV debate.

So 50,000 new nurses is actually 31,000 new nurses and retaining 19,000 existing nurses. So, not 50,000 new nurses then.
