I agree about the ruway on the right and the tweets, Can't speak about C4 as I wasn't there. It would be great if these improvements could be made  I am very happy here, and this would make it easier to use.

I speak for the Masses on here... Gets me into trouble sometimes But hey--- If we don't let the Bosses know what we as forummers think makes for a great forum then i may be wasting my breath.

Expecting another slagging on Darnell Towers for rocking the boat But hey-- if we don't state what the majority think on here then folk are not gonna come back or leave.. Real I hope the FM's that don't regularly post here will come back and support this forum to help make  changes. In a positive way to make this the best forum available

Night all No doubt i will slated again on Darnell Towers for posting this, but it's one way of getting the FMs views on this place and why folk have left, or are unhappy with the place.    Over 1,000,000 Groupee  FMs on LC--- how come they haven't got involved in our forum??? Over to you Ted O'Niel??? Too busy with Tweets maybe?  

Real, this is a redundant thread. All the things you are bringing up have been discussed already. In LC support and elsewhere. Ted has posted a particularly interesting blog a week or so ago. They know about the blog/tweet issue, I assure you.
You will not be banned for saying what you're saying, because they've heard it already. If FB  works for you, stick with FB.

The reason the American groupee FM's don't post on Gaga is because they see all the shit flying about and can't be bothered. I don't blame them. It's the same reason the 'Ignore function' isn't as ex C4 FM's would wish it to be. The Americans never needed it, basically if they don't like a post they ignore it, they don't need an ignore blacklist feature. I think we should sometimes post on here and imagine our parents are reading it.

I'm with Liverbird.  Every forum is what you make it, and you only get out what you put in.

The tweets are annoying because I never know when someone has posted a real blog (instead of just got on the bus).  It's a shame they are lost so soon, but I think the admins know that the majority do not like them.

Why would Americans post on a forum set up for UK TV fans?  Most of the time, the Big Brother forum has nothing to do with Big Brother, but they don't know that, do they?

I think everyone who is logged onto the site shows up in the box.  I may be wrong though.  I have seen a lot of names recently who I have never seen post in the forums.

The runway to the right can be useful. Some of the stuff on it can be dispensed with though. What we REALLY don't need is the inch margin on either side. A little margin , yes. But why two inches of page made totally redundant?

For every negative there is a positive. Some people are dwelling on the negative. We have avatars, we've got PMs, there's a choice of forums, it's open 24/7, we can post links/pics/videos, we can blog, have private conversations and groups......I could go on.

I'll also add that the mods here have been fantastic in sorting out things that go wrong, things we'd like added etc. None of us are obliged to be here and I think it sounds incredibly ungrateful to advertise that you're setting up a forum to get people away from here

No one is forced to be a part of this "community".  I like it here.  I like all the extras.  Except the tweets - but that's a whole other issue!

We all don't get along all the time.  That is to be expected.  However, there are other places to go and other things to do so people can avoid each other.

You don't speak for me Real and I think you have been very unfair to Xochi in your reply.  It's also very unfair the way you spoke about The Towers in 2 different posts.  You have had nothing but friendship in this thread.

You were constantly complaining about C4 and only last week you were saying how wonderful it is here.

I like it here because of the people and it has given us everything C4 didn't (as you have said on many occasions).  Some people never wanted to come here and others you have been chatting with haven't been posting with us on their own admission since before C4 closed.

I'm sorry Real you don't speak for me either, I don't spend a lot of time here admittedly at the moment, but I have stuff going on in RL and I come on here to escape from that and enjoy myself and quite frankly, just lately one of the reasons I haven't been around late at night in the Towers is the fact that there seems to be a lot of complaining done about this forum.  Sorry to the rest of you, I miss you all but it was best for me to keep away.

I'll be honest, I had a lot of doubts about this forum when it first opened before we moved, it was clunky, a lot of bugs and seemed to be a lot more awkward to use, I did say a lot of this at the time, but I gave it a chance thanks to people like EFFT, Ducky and Ditty who got off their asses and got things sorted here, now we are here, I couldn't imagine being anywhere else for being a long term forum, I nose at DS, sometime post, mainly in the soaps threads, but I always come home to here, where we can blog, have a laugh here, join groups, have our avvis and post pictures and web links so much easier than on the old forum, that I frankly would not like to change now, I know I am in the minority when I say I would like just a one line sig, and I am not keen on the tweets on the right hand side, would like to see the tweets and blogs separated, but who is to say that this won't be happening in a future upgrade?  We don't know, the admins do listen to us and try and provide what we are asking for.

Some of us are even trying to put together a LIveCloud Christmas Panto, something that would have been difficult on the old board I think, so it is not all bad.

Personally after a lot of grave misgivings in the summer, to the point where I did register on other forums, I stayed here, gave it a chance and I'm bloody glad I did, I miss people from the old forum who didn't make the leap across and hope that maybe one day they will come back, but it is up to us now to make the best of the forum we have and encourage any new person who comes here and make it the place it should be, it has all the makings of being one of, if not the best forum/social networking site on the interweb.

Sorry about long post, just wanted to put exactly how I feel about this whole thing.

Xochi  missed our late night chats.
