I'd definitely go forward...a long way forward.... just to be nosy like Rosie ^^

I wouldn't want to go forward or back and see my own lifetime, cos I think that has the potential to be a bit of a sad experience, especially if you can't change anything! I wouldn't want to go back to happy times then find I missed them on my return. And what if you went forward and saw something you didn't like? Much safer just to live your life the once, never knowing what's coming, good or bad.

We don't want a ruddy philosophy lesson.

Will it all be robots and cyborgs like in Terminator do you think?

Probably more like Wall-E cleaning up our polluted planet

Ah, there's a point

I agree with you Ducky, I'd avoid my lifetime too. It would be too bittersweet to go back for only 24 hours - and potentially headwrecking to go forward... what if the future wasn't so good

You didn't answer the question properly

Tell me how?

The question was........would you go forwards or backwards in time if you could?

You silly silly person - its obvious they're all events from the past

Oh yeah, silly me. I didn't read properly did I?

This has thrown up some interesting discussions. I stuck in the rules so as to avoid discussion on rules and so people can think more about when and where they would go to.

I'm struggling with one trip back in time and one forward. I would like to go back and see the dinosaurs but I would also like to go forward in time maybe 500-1000 years and see where we have got to in terms of technology, space travel, medicine and planetary management and preservation and also if my football team ever win anything

Which one would I go for - the jury is out.

The earth will be radio-active and we'll be living on the moon - Isaac Asimov said so....

Could well be right

What makes you say that EC?

Because they always strike me as creatures that know more than they are letting on.
