Did Zebedee say "And so to bed"? I thought he said "Time For Bed" and, anyway, I was always suspicious of Zebedee. Why did he want me to go to bed? What was he going to do once I was in bed? Many a sleepless night, I spent, listening for the sound of a spring boinging closer to my bedroom door.

I was also afraid of Smurfs. Smurfs crawling up the legs of my bed. Smurfs crawling over me. Gargamel was good, I thought, because he wanted to kill the smurfs.

Yes - you're right.

It was Samuel Pepys who said "And so to bed." - in his Diary.
