Every hole has a set number of strokes that it can be completed in, on average. This number is called PAR.

A BOGEY is when you take 1 more stroke than PAR. Thus DOUBLE-BOGEY would be two more than Par.

A BIRDIE is one less than PAR
An EAGLE is 2 less than PAR

An Albatross is three less than Par

The course is ridiculously hard, it's quite stunning how they cope considering the weather.

Seasoned pros though. They've prolly seen worse

Have you seen how hilly that course is!  It really doesn't show it on the telly, Sprout.  Like putting up Ben Nevis
