I hate thunder and lightning

I bloody hope it clears up within an hour so I could at least leg it to the cafeteria. Why oh why oh why is my residence hall so bloody far away from it?!

Gypsie, all is fine now. No need for a helicoper. Though this past few weeks there's been heavy heavy HEAVY rain causing proper floods so they needed helicopers more than I do

There was a bloke in our local paper... who got a totally crispy ear from his phone... cos the phone line was stuck by lightening.    It was proper toasted!!!   Gross!

I was a bit shocked really...  firstly that people still use wired in phones, and secondly that it could toast your ear!  & third that it was front page news

By the way, all is very well. I had an omelette for dinner which to be honest was better than nothing! And I don't have wellies; I have these boots made out of fabric which is absolutely fantastic during the  cold but utterly useless in heavy rain

I will definitely be using that, next time I feel a bit pre-minstrel.

I kept my brother on the phone for about an hour when I was in on my own and the thunder was really loud. It felt like the house was shaking.
