My cousin sucks her thumb and has to have a hanky-noodle between her toes at night. She was a teacher and fell asleep on a coach, on a school trip, and woke up to find that she'd been sucking her thumb.

TBF, she's forty odd now and I haven't asked her if she's stopped.

Me too ! It does limit the choice of summer footwear uinfortunately but ...........I simply cannot do toe posts ............my little pinkies are far to delicate.

Fit-flops...I love 'em...they even come in trendy designs now. I've got 4 pairs...and might wear a pair tomorrow if it stops raining

I've never understood why adults suck their thumb either   I find it relaxing if hubby strokes my feet while I sit with feet up on sofa watching tv, but, I can't stand it if he or anyone touches my ankles
