No, I wouldn't pick there either... I need a *common* village, so I would feel at home

You're gonna be my neighbour

I live in a village - I lived in London for the first thirty years of my life - the last twenty four years I've lived in a relatively small village - TBH - it's lovely - there can be downsides in that you have to travel for anything going on ie. theatre concerts etc. - the public transport is iffy but ..........................I don't think i'd change my life too much - even if I did win the lottery.

You are really lucky Soozy.....I did the opposite and lived in a village (outside a small town), and moved to a town....

Thats just what i have been saying, If you did win that cottage you would feel beholden to them for your life. I dont think i could cope with them looking over my shoulder the whole time.

I agree Gyspie If I won it I would put it back on the market and move somewhere nicer..... But I wonder if there is a rule that they have to stay in it for X number of years??
