Couldn't agree more, can certainly dish it out but sure can't take it.

Hi Squiggle and SB She was a total nightmare, wasn't she.....and despite saying something along the lines of  *I tell it how it is*.... she certainly couldn't take it when it was her turn  Mind you, I find that is usually the case with that type of personality.  I didn't much like the result of Love Thy Neighbour either Squiggle

I have been thinking about LTN today and I am struggling to come to any conclusion other than that their rejection of Phillip & Simone is a result of racism.  Stable family, small children, a man who was obviously prepared to work hard for the village in a political capacity and came last   Sadly I can't come to any other conclusion.  To be honest I am not sure that the young couple who won will make a success of their very new relationship, and I think that Laura is in the village precisely in case they fail and the house comes up for grabs again (I am not sure what would be the position if the winners did not make it to the 3 and a half year deadline).

I agree about Philip and Simone..... although I don't think their arguing in public helped their cause..... but no way they should have come last.  TBH I  din't think much of either of the finalists... but in the end I think it was a foregone conclusion...... cos the majority of on camera villagers comments made it quite clear that  the winner needed to be married,  white, and  hetrosexual .

I was very disappointed the villagers chose the safest option.   Made rather a very poor ending to the series - maybe that is why C4 moved it to More4.  I wont bother watching if they make another one.
