In the sense that next door's keep making their way underneath my fence  I wait for them to jump on a shovel I 'put out' and hoik them back over the fence   

I saaw the word shovel and though you were going to say you flattened them

Statues - I cannot even look at pictures of statues especially ones with a face.

 It is. It's always inexplicable to other people too. Another huge phobia of mine is windfarms. There is a large one not far from where we live and if we drive past it I am literally shaking and almost in tears.

It's JCB'S I absolutely freeze when I have to walk past one   be they static or working.  I've got the notion that they're suddenly gonna fly out of control. 

I can understand the statue ones and the JCB's

The Angel of the North looms very high and i get faint looking up, it would kill you Missy  lol

 That's like me with the windfarms and statues.I will go the long way round if have to to avoid them.

It's a bit like what you say - they appear to be sentient, as if they are about to move.  I watched a programme about a woman who had the same phobia as me - she described it as them having a "presence".

There was an advert on the TV recently that featured the Angel of the North. Well, I screamed the place down every time it came on.
