This place is going to be embedded within Live Cloud. Once it is transferred you will log on to LC (log in details as at present) this will take you to Live Cloud's home page. From there clich 'communities' in the black bar and click one of the options, it should take you to this forum. It may display slightly differently, but ostensibly will be the same.

In either case, to get to the forums click COMMUNITIES in the top bar and then choose the appropriate option from the drop down menu. (Sorry can't be more specific as the forums are not there yet. )

Only having had a quick look, it is a bit scary, not sure I am fond of the non-anomity of it, and the well I dunno, not keen but that might be a fear of change, I like the forum format so much better than the online social netwworking format.

Oh and me no like that I have to use firefox to get it to work properly.

Just lock down your profile. You don't even have to show up as online, if you don't want.

We're still working on the Internet Explorer thing, but it'll work for you, soon.

Hi Lori,

In:

LiveCloud / Manage / Settings > Privacy

I have checked "Keep me invisible for Online Now List" - which means I do not appear in the "Online Now" panel to the right.

But I do appear online (little orange figure) if someone does a search for me, or if I view a post I have made in a topic and also when my buddies see me in their buddy lists.

The only way round this is not to log on and keep all my Permissions set to "World" so I can at least view my wall.

Also when you click on the little orange figure to view member info the time is always incorrect eg just now it says: "Last Time Signed In: Today at 08:59" which is an hour out even though I have set the time correctly and the time is displaying correctly in other areas of the site. Before I logged on today it said my last log in was 1:59am this morning when in fact I logged out at 10:10pm – ish last night.

So, it seems if someone wants to find out if you are online they can and people can also tell when you last logged on although as I've said these times have always been wildly out.

I want to be able to appear offline because I am not glued to my PC and I would appear to be rude if someone started a dialog with me that I then appeared to ignore when it would simply be the case that I was somewhere else. I also don't want details of my last log in displayed.

On further discussion you WILL need to 'SIGN-IN' and complete your profile, but you can close it down completely and use the forum only. If you don't sign in you will have 'guest status' and will be able to explore the place and read things. To participate (be able to post and such) you will need to sign-in. All GaGa FMs are already signed-up, so from the home page you click Sign-In and are then asked to complete your profile 9if this is your first visit) then you are presented with the sign-in screen and then you are in.

I am aware thet people have been having problems and that sometimes the nature of these problems has meant that they HAVE had to re-register, but in the first instance you should approach this with the assumption that all will proceed WITHOUT a problem.

near the top right will be - Sign in(New user? Sign-up)
Click on the bit that says SIGN-IN
You will then be asked to Log-in, then complete your profile (first visit only) then Sign-In.

The bit at the top right should now have a welcome message - you are now able to explore and participate.

The route to this forum (once it is there) is as follows:- Click on Explore on the black bar and then click Communities. You should then be presented with a list of communitis of which GaGa will be one. LiveCloud support can also be found there, at the moment.

You will also be able to explore all aspects of the Social Networking side of things, if you wish.

The first thing to do, I would reccommend, is click MANAGE on the top bar, then setting and scroll to the 'notifications' section and un-check all the 'e-mail 'boxes.
