I don't wish to sound ungrateful because GaGa have been really great but...
1. LiveCloud looks horrible - although I remember GaGa was launched before they'd finished tweaking with the stylesheets. There is no left margin for example.
I like the simple layout and colour scheme here.
2. There seems to be too much going on at LiveCloud. I haven't got time for more than UK Lounge and Big Brother UK - but when there are blogs and all sorts (which I wouldn't read or look at even if I had the time) I think I would then miss out on in-jokes etc. It has the potential to become very cliquey with multiple little groups - I may be wrong there, that's just a first impression and potential worry (for me at least). There are very few people in The Lounge anyway but I feel like we're a little community of sorts, perhaps less people would spend time in a Lounge-type forum on LiveCloud with other "toys" and new-fangled gizmos to play with.
3. I haven't signed in yet so don't know what the privacy settings are but I want to be anonymous - seems like you can tell when someone is on-line, when they last logged on, DOB, who their buddies are etc.
4. The navigation isn't intuitive. No breadcrumb trail like there is here for a start.
5. It is clunky.
5. I am getting too old to embrace drastic change!
Questions:
Are these topics going to be retained/ transferred across?
Will it eventually look and "feel" (I suspect not) like this place?
When does this place close?
I suppose those of us not too happy with LiveCloud right now will have to see how it pans out but in the meantime...
