zazz, I think if she had a second chance at "Her life" she might not have smiled at the Offie named in her honour......

I guess that would depend on her sense of humour....

I think (No, I know) I have done things in my past that I am glad that I have come out from the other side from.......(Lucky me).........I have had Children and Grandchildren, and would not want them to look up to and think that is the only part of my life....

Allthough I didn't care for her music a lot. It is sad when people do this sort of thing

Does not mean to say I have a problem with you zazz .....

1.  It could have been named way before Amy Winehouse was even famous - but I don't know that for sure.  If so, it's just a lucky 'pun'.

2.  If it was named after her death (or during her well publicised illness) then it's just a bit naff and corny.  But that's just my opinion and in no way a reflection on anyone else's sense of humour.

I just felt a bit sick at the sadness of such a talent passing at a young age, t'is all.

ditto     wonder be interesting to know when it was named and what effect her death had on trade.  Silly, but I'd feel disrespectful buying a bottle of plonk there.
