I have mentioned this to friends here ....

I have to go my nieces wedding in 3 weeks ....(still a fat wallet lol,
I need to go forum weight loss thread ..lol)

anyway on phone with her and on my invite card there was no and Plus one ????.....

anyway
I just rung her and said Im bringing one ...

she went dead quite and said is it one from your mental club ....??????
I nearly said No its a scabby crack whore ....hahahahaha

I said I dont know ...lol
she says
well you let me know, dont bring many of *them*....!!!!

and the best about it my niece is a young school teacher ...

Obviously they teach about some prejudices issues like skin colours Black an Asians etc

but us nutters are still fair game as the stereotypical image ...

anyway

Im taking Rich and watch him wreck her wedding in style of Mr Bean ...

if there was no 'plus one' on the invite then it was extremely rude of the OP to invite another person. Why would the bride/groom wqant some unknown random person at their wedding. Could be they already have a list of people in reserve to take the places of folk on the A list who cant make it. It is very expensive to invite all and sundry and perhaps the bride n groom would prefer to keep it to people they actually know, after all, it is their big day. I would be hightly offended if somebody asked if they could bring somebody along with them. It is the height of bad manners

As Mike is single they assumed he would be coming alone . At least he DID have the manner's to phone up and ask if it was all right to bring someone.

I agree, it costs enough to invite people you know without folk expecting to bring hangers on. My son is getting wed and there will most definitely be no 'plus ones' on any invitations. The bride and groom have a B list to take the place of anybody on the A list who cannot attend. It is impossible to invite everybody they know due to cost and also the size of the venue. I am appalled that somebody would expect to be able to bring along another person to a wedding without them being invited. It is both selfish and inconsiderate.
