I finally found something I wanted to make a thread about Velvet. 
You HAVE to watch this!
It's heartbreaking, depressing, and inspirational all at the same time. It's a bit long (15-ish mins)... but So worth it. The boy tells his story incredibly well.

I got desperate for some noise earlier....and put The Big Bang Theory on. 
And even sadder than that.... the sound on the TV wasn't working, so I had to put subtitles on.

It happens every so often for no reason that I can fathom. Wiggling the scart lead at the back does no good whatsoever 
(except maybe as a cheap chiropractic therapy alternative 
) The only thing that works is waiting for it to heal itself. Which it invariably does after a few hours of winding me up.

Aw Ducks.. you know I would normally support you in your thread creation... I would watch your vids even if I was dubious about its content (you know, something like a cat putting another cat in a box & keeping it in the box ), but I just can't bring myself to watch your vid.

S'ok Sprout.. just life... one of those times where life decides to throw all the shitty stuff at you at once... my dog being diagnosed with a back problem & his ongoing discomfort (this is the biggie for me), the kitten we got before we knew about the dogs back problem, the hoard of False Black Widow Spiders we have discovered in our conservatory over the last few days, son just going down with flu, MrD's auntie just been found dead in her house in Vancouver (v unexpected, FIL v distraught) & one of MrD's friends was knocked off his bike last week & has been paralysed from the chest down (aged 39, married with 2 kids)... oh.. & the kitten had fleas (sorted now)
I'm just feeling really really really fed up, I need to laugh myself out of downer
