Well the movie was about 3/4 hours long you had to rent it on 2 seperate VHS tapes which was around 1995/6 but I've just read the mini series was 8 hours long so I don't really know..Harold freaked me out in the book, he was a perv....

The film we've seen is not the mini series. The mini series is too long to be the film we saw. By virtue of the fact the mini series is 8 hours and the film is 4 hours the two can not be related. 8 hours is definitely (I've checked using my calculator) twice as long as 4.

Am I labouring the point here?

I know and I feel awful for him in that respect, can only imagine what he's feeling.

But I've known Poolshark a long time and as long as he's been around he's always had a certain 'way' of describing women who he dislikes, and it's always raised a few eyebrows and caused controversy. It's his total right to post as he pleases of course, but as is the way with t'internet, not everyone is going to agree with opinions or an individual's turn of phrase. *shrugs*
