Right I've downloaded the ap for it, but for some reason I can't work out what to do next, I rebooted my PC expecting some kind of toolbar to appear but nothing, what am I doing wrong?, how do you use the damn thing?

When you installed it, did it give you a desktop icon?
Or perhaps you wish to start it by clicking on "Start - All programmes" (or 'programs' as Microsoft say.)

If you can't see the icon on your desktop then can you access through 'All programs'?
When it opens you'll have a panel on the left hand side and the globe on the right. Just type in the location in the search bar and bingobongobang.

No desk top item installed, not tried start yet, let me give it a go, cheers!

I've looked at All Programmes and nothing there, what am I doing wrong!
Maybe you haven't completed the installation?
I would be tempted to download it again. Click on it to install.
The technology that is behind this programme is truly fantastic. Was amazed the first time i saw it.
Maybe you saved it to My Download files or My Received Files or somewhere. When you downloaded it, try to remember where you saved it to. Then find the download there and double-click to install. Just a possibility. Best of luck! 
If you are using Firefox Mozilla, have a look under Downloads from the Tools menu. Firefox downloads applications, then waits for you to install them, though it should have shown a message for this after download, If it is there, then click on the application shown and proceed with what instructions appear.
