I'm not just mad at the Tories but all the aprties, they are just as bad as each other, on Sky news this morning they had an MP on from the Scottish MP, and they have to publicly declare any expenses claims, why don't we do that?

I more more shocked at the trivial things to be honest, greed is always going to be a factor with some of them. It's the funding of their lifestyle and not just claiming for the necessities that's winding me up

I wasn't shocked. . never am... automatically assumed they had perks of the job.. doubt many really were shocked unless they live in a hole and don't know what goes on in the real world..

I had an expense account when I worked. . tho I got bliddy taxed on it too


Seems the problem is that because times are hard the 'leaders' extravagances are being highlighted much more . . I doubt their spending is any different now to what it was say 2 yrs ago when Joe Public weren't going thru hard times.. just people making a kerfuffle now that the public are having to tighten their purse strings.. they want everybody to do it too and not flaunt their wealth or good fortune. . which seems fair enough I suppose.. kinda...Oh I dunno anymore.. :shrugs:

That's what we plan to do with the European Elections deej - a protest vote. We'll probably vote for UKIP just to show the three main parties what we think of this whole sorry fiasco.
