She should have taken the plea deal when she had the chance.

I do have a doubt that she may be found  guilty  ( I'm  not sure how the outcome will be, who can be 100% sure. )  they only need to cause unreasonable doubt in ONE of those Jury's minds.

Easy done if the defence do their job properly.

They haven`t so far. Unfortunately for Casey her defence team are totally incompetant, especially her lead lawyer, Baez. He`s a laughing stock among the legal eagles in America and anyone who`s been watching his embarrassing, disastrous antics over the last 3 years. They are up against a very experienced and brilliant prosecution team who have a mountain of damning evidence. The defence only have smoke and mirrors.

it's not unusual in the US when there is a weight of evidence (if this is the case) for the prosecution to offer a plea bargain - it's mainly to save money rather than have a long drawn out trial.

I think it's also a tactic that is used to say "look we've got this evidence, do yourself a favour and admit it because if you do we'll give you so many years but if you go to trial and are found guilty, you'll get life without parole or a death sentence."

Not sure yet, so on the basis of having some reasonable doubt, I've ticked no she didn't murder her for the moment, I may change my mind...I have read q a bit but haven't actually watched any of the trial itself...Think lots of her presentation/behaviour is consistent with someone who has been severely traumatised by sexual abuse and is no stranger to secrets, lies and disassociation....but that doesn't mean that she didn't kill her daughter... DEFINITELY think that George has something to do with all

I am not sure she's guilty of murder but am sure she's guilty of covering up Casey's death.. be it accidental or not. .I have only read a few articles that have not been put to into evidence as yet and I am not sure some of the bits I have read will be allowed in as a lot seems mainly speculative.. also have read the various input from everybody on here who has followed the case. .but mainly I am pretty free of other media input on the case and have only read the actual trial stuff in any detail .. so I know just a tad more than the Jury but not much..

So far I can't see what others are seeing in the Father having only ever seen him on the stand and not knowing owt about him nor the Mother Cindy before the trial started]  but am very sure Casey is responsible for her daughters death... and that is based on evidence submitted so far re the kid being missing and not with the imaginary Nanny and her carrying on as if all was fine when it wasn't.. again am not sure she murdered her with intent but am sure she was responsible for the kid dying....

Am not qualified to diagnose her mentally but her behaviour after the child died is not what I'd expect from a 'normal' person..

I think she'll be found guilty of something one way or another. .but am against the death penalty so am hoping she just gets time..  a long time
