Wot everyday things do you think will soon pass into 'nostalgia'?
Things we are simply not needing - never use ?
We discard so much - wots next?

I think ..... the telephone box is next - we all hav mobiles and the red phone box has long, long gone (Although the village next to me still has one!)

Unless spellchecker corrects a mistake, they get left in!

I'm a bit of an anorak for spelling, and have been known to correct mistakes in burger king, in front of people watching and the staff!!

Where I live we're losing pavements - so many of them are being dedicated to car parking spaces for residents

Why do teenagers typre like..thissss nowww? They also do text type but some of the words have more letters in than if it's spelled correctly???

Even worse, a few friends of mine type likeee thisss or lyK dis, and they're in their 30's!!!!

Definately house phones (landlines), some mobile tarrifs work out cheaper than using say BT and paying for line rental....my parents hardly use the phone but their phone bill is over £50 per quarter, most of which is charges and not the cost of calls....

My parents have an old red phone box in their courtyard - dad bought it for next to nothing but it will be worth a mint when they really become obsolete.

We still have a rag and bone man round here but like someone else said its a bloke in a van - ours a flat bed van and a right Pikey! He rummages through skips and all!

Hand-written letters. Years ago I used to send and receive letters from my mum and sister, as we all live far away from each other, and it was always exciting getting those letters. Now we just phone each other instead.
