Don't mind her Moonie...she and Karma Waters are tryna freak me out by convincing me that once Finn starts crawling my life will be in ruins I'm not buying it
Just wait!   Reminds me of a friend who said she wouldn't put her ornaments up out of her son's reach because he would know the meaning of no!

Honestly though, it's the best time when they start crawling and exploring - but you have to watch them CONSTANTLY.  Especially when they think if it's good enough for the dog to eat, it's good enough for me!

Urgh, god. I'm 9 years older than one of my brothers, and 11 years older than the other. I remember vividly when they started crawling.
Bedlam - like having monkeys in the house with an uncontrollable attraction to everything they shouldn't get their hands on. Bruv number one was the best - we took our eyes off him for a second and he spread the contents of his nappy all over the carpet/himself.
Another time, he got the big pound tub of Vaseline and smeared it all over the hearth and in his hair. Hideous..

My youngest kept me on my toes - he had a thing about hair and would put everything he could lay his hands on into his hair.  The best one was nail varnish.  It was not a good look.

Then one day he decided that it would be a good idea to let the little girl (a year older than him and he was 3) next door cut his hair.  She didn't do a very good job.

well I do quite have a funny story, but it was when mine was a bit older, he found my sani pads with wings and was using them as areoplanes, you can imagine my face
My elder son did something similar with an enire box of tampons!  All over the bathroom floor.  I couldn't get angry though, because I could just imagine the fun he had shooting off the rockets!

Me and my friend once spent a very enjoyable afternoon with a bottle of lucozade and a pack of my mum's tampons putting the tampons in the top and watching them expand. I can't remember if she was angry or not.

My brothers both also had a thing about stuffing foreign objects into their ears and noses.

Eldest one had to be taken to the GP's house (twice on successive Sundays), for sticking a pea from his Sunday dinner all the way up his nostril. He was banned from having them after that.

Younger one and his little mate had to be taken to hospital from their nursery class, for stuffing their ears with plasticine

I know it's irrational but I can't have a hoover nozzle near me just in case.
Oh... now I really want to meet up with you...    I want to stand there and hold my hand to the nozzle... pull hand away from nozzle.... put hand to nozzle.

Then we can move onto fingers up the nozzle!

reads back frantically through thread for things Ditty is scared of
I am scared of brown window envelope letters addressed to me....   I am not keen on feet... not scared of them... but they make me shudder or gag.

I dislike graze type injuries...    and knuckle cracking!

Things that proper scare me...  they tend to be the big things... bad news and stuff.

I am a total wimp with scary films though!
