Johnny's just said it, we can't keep rebuilding and rebuilding
Worra an 'effin shambles by England eh Sprout? And I don't even think that Oz was that outstanding anyway! Pah. I'll wish Ireland well then.
I noticed during the second-half, especially, the Australian handling wasn't great and possession was regularly lost by both teams through sloppiness!
I really feel for Stuart and Chris
Well said that man, everyone needs to calm down
I feel sorry for England and all the fans...but rather than blame the players and the coaches...Pool A (pool of death) is the reason..there are 4 top 10 in the world sides in one group...the All Blacks are the only first tier side in their group....so unfair and someone had to go.
delighted Wales play on...hope we can work out a way to handle Pocock and Hooper in the breakdown....cos they messed England right up
Yet again an England team, of whatever ilk, has failed to turn up on the day
I predict the England football team will not make it past the quarter finals in Europe next year...

Hopefully your prediction will prove to be as accurate as the one where you forecast that England would be thrashed by the Aussies in the Ashes series!
First up, I don't watch Rugby, never have and probably never will.
My reason for coming here is to drop a small nugget of information - according to the BBC an incredible amount of money will now no longer be spent due to the result.
Also reading Amythist's post - do they not get seeded in Rugby so as to keep all the top sides apart?
If not I have to applaud that, I am not in favour of seeding, it always feels like it is weighted in favour of the top team/sides/players whatever the sport.

Well let's face it Madame, England just about hung on in he end, which is all they had to do. Hardly inspiring stuff though, was it?
As for the England football team, they almost never get it right. Last tournament win?
1966 World Cup?
That about sums it up...

I thought it was great!
Not really bothered about the football, to be honest, Moonie. Too many cheating, whinging, overpaid prima donnas.

Yes, I agree with you there
Oh well that might shut up the NATIONAL news about banging on about England constantly, the other nations in this country get an aside mention,Okay they might not do much better in the long run but at least they are still in it..! Legs it...
Nice cushion but keep it going
"Football is spending 90 minutes pretending that you've been hurt, Rugby is spending 80 minutes pretending that you haven't."
Yep, when you look at the injuries they get ...and play on and only come off if their life depends on it. Well not that bad but you know what I mean
Bonecrunching tackles!
Hello, Sprout.
How the hell do you breathe in one of those scrums?
I like the Uraguayans' outfits. Rather attractive shade of blue.
Did you watch the earlier games Madame?
I've half a mind to enter that competition It's not so much the ticket, it's the cash and computer
Did you watch the earlier games Madame?
Watched some of the Australia\Wales game which was rather good.
What about you?
Yes, I was doing housey stuff and listened to the Scotland game on the radio and saw bits and pieces of the Wales game. Looked a hell of a game by Wales
I only wish I understood a bit more about the moves, but I'm learning though
The one I haven't totally grasped yet is the offside

Yes. I think they're up against the Springboks next

I have the same problem with the footie offside too

That one's easy!

I don't get many of the Rugby laws, either. I just find the game exciting to watch
Google it Sprouty
Good idea! why didn't I think of that

That's my one good idea for this month

I also struggle to understand where a back and a forward play but like you I find the game good to watch

I've been trying to think what the colour reminds me of and I think it's the colour of the Caffe Nero logo. (Not that I frequent the coffee 'chains' - much prefer to support the local independent coffee houses)

And it's only the 10th!

Ah yes, you're right! No I don't go in them either, but then again I don't buy coffee 'over the counter'
I think the backs are the sprightly ones that sprint up the pitch and the forwards are the chunky lads that dig the ball out for them
