Gawd, I hope GMA is wrong about mine, it'll mean an emergency section or a very sore fluppence.
Good to see you Queen, glad everything is ok with you and your little bundle of joy.

I had 3 sections Queen, one emergency and 2 planned...it' s the afterwards that is the hardest (when you have it it just feels like someone is doing the washing up in your tummy)...do what they said and take it easy...the planned ones are much better and more civilised
I'm not looking forward to the section but I'm happy with the way it's being handled, although I still think it would be better and safer to get it done sooner rather than later. Some of the other women on the ward were having real problems. The woman in the bed opposite mine has been in and out of hospital since wk22 and is now 32 wks. She has a low lying placenta and they've told her she has to stay in now until term and then she'll probably have to have a hysterectomy at the same time due to her history. She's only 37, I didn't know what to say to her, she was so upset.

Oh Queenie, how sad for her. I do hope everything goes okay for her,
My Mum had a hysterectomy when she was 30. It was a small price to pay for years and years of agony
Hope she is okay

Oh Queenie, how sad for her. I do hope everything goes okay for her,
Me too, she was sobbing for ages and trying to stop herself. Her little boy is only 2 so she was really struggling with the fact she won't be able to see him much for potentially a couple of months. I'll go and check in on her when I go back on Thursday. There were quite a few women having problems in the unit. At least my problem is relatively straightforward.
Welcome back and good luck - rest up and keep cheerful, won't be long now.
All the best.
All the best.

Poor girl, i do hope things get better for her...and you must stop worrying about others and think about yourself...though it is lovely that you care so much

Aah, I'm so pleased you're home! When I had my first (22 years ago now) I had pre-eclampsia and they kept me in from 32 weeks until my induction at 37 weeks (plus an extra 8 days after the birth as was normal then), so like you I've seen mums-to-be with all sorts of awful problems and some are heartbreaking.
Anyhow... I hope you spend the next week with your feet up, languishing in a state of total relaxation!

Found you Watch out for that bloody Dance Settee, ya know what these bloody psychologist/ social work /therapist types are like Pity you're not a few miles up North, we could be doing this together... in my local little hospital the gynae and maternity ward is combined

(Only because they shut down the excellent maternity hospital where I first saw the light of day)
Haven't heard much from you two since I returned. Hope that you are both OK! QOTHT warn your husband not to try to cheer you up by telling you jokes after the C-Section. No one warned me which in turn led to an unfortunate set of circumstances on the way to see the neonate.
Hope all goes well
