Yay!!! Thank you for all your good wishes. It really did cheer me up while I was in the hospital. 
Baby is still transverse but they don't think it'll move on it's own now and it's too far on to try and manipulate a turn so I'm booked for a C section on 2nd September, unless I start contractions or my waters break when I'll have to have an emerency section. Blood pressure is far too labile to do anything about it so I just have to take it very easy and hope everything stays ok for the next nine days.

your OH played a blinder letting us know what was happening, now plenty of rest. 
The biggest concern is that my waters could break which would be really dangerous for the baby as the cord could drop down and kink. We reckon it would be safer if they just did the surgery asap but apparently there are too many needing sections and the bank holiday means there's more of a backlog. 
I'm just relieved to be home for a bit tbh though.
